Safety Notes
This car radio has been manufactured according to established safety guidelines. However, dangers may still occur if the safety notes in this manual are not observed. This manual is intended to familiarize the user with the car radio's important functions. Read this carefully before using the car radio. Keep this manual in an easily accessible location. Additionally, observe the instructions of devices used in conjunction with this car radio.
- The car radio's core components may be damaged if the car is driven on bumpy roads for a prolonged period or if non-standard or severely damaged discs are used.
- Do not operate the car radio under extreme temperature conditions (extremely high or low temperatures). Ensure the temperature within the car ranges from -20°C to 80°C before connecting the car radio to the power supply.
Road Safety
Always observe the following notes for road safety:
- The car radio must be used in a way that complements the safety of the user when driving the vehicle. It is recommended to park at an appropriate location when operating the car radio. While driving, users are not recommended to use applications prone to distraction, such as streaming media.
- Radios with Navigation: Users are recommended to proceed with proposed driving routes only if they do not violate any traffic regulations. Local traffic signs and regulations always prevail over the proposed routes.
- Users are advised to keep the volume of the car radio at a moderate level for ear protection and to enhance the ability to hear emergency warning signals (e.g., police and ambulance sirens). Do not increase the car radio volume while it is muted, as it will not be audible. The car radio volume can be too loud when unmuted.
General Safety Notes
Observe the following for protection against injuries:
- This car radio is intended for installation and operation in a vehicle with a 12V vehicle system. The radio unit must be installed in a DIN slot. Observe the output limits of the car radio.
- Do not dismantle or modify the car radio. Installation and repairs, if necessary, should be performed by a specialist. Blaupunkt is not liable for any loss or damage caused or resulting from unauthorized disassembly or modification of the product.
- Solvents, cleaning agents, scouring agents, dashboard spray, and plastics care products may contain materials that can damage the surface and screen of the car radio. Use only a dry or slightly moistened cloth to clean the car radio surface and screen.
This manual may be updated from time to time without notice.

Disposal Notes

Radios with Detachable Panel - Damage to the control panel
- Never drop the control panel.
- Transport the control panel so that it is protected against impacts and the contacts do not become dirty.
- Do not expose the control panel to direct sunlight or another heat source.
- Avoid direct skin contact.

Key Functions
The following describes the main functions and buttons of the car multimedia unit:
- 1. Microphone: For voice input.
- 2. RESET Button: Resets the unit to factory settings.
- 3. Power Button: Press and hold to turn the unit on or off. Press briefly to mute or unmute audio.
- 4. Home Page [home-icon]: Returns to the main screen.
- 5. Return [back-arrow]: Navigates to the previous screen or function.
- 6. Increase Volume [volume-up]: Increases the audio volume.
- 7. Decrease Volume [volume-down]: Decreases the audio volume.
Operation
Home Page
The Home Page displays key information such as time, date, and current media status. It provides access to various functions.
Bluetooth
Pre-pair Bluetooth
Ensure your mobile phone supports the Bluetooth function before pairing. Different mobile phones may have different transmission powers. For the best connection, maintain a distance of approximately 3 meters without any obstructions.
Pairing
- Turn on your mobile phone's Bluetooth and initiate setup. Refer to your mobile phone's instruction manual for specific Bluetooth operations.
- The device name "SAN JUAN 945T" should appear in your phone's available Bluetooth scanning list.
- Select "SAN JUAN 945T". If a password is required, enter "0000". Confirm any pairing prompt messages that appear. A successful pairing is indicated by the device name appearing in white on the Home Page.

Go to your mobile phone's Settings and turn on the personal hotspot.
Android: Supported 2-way control
Go to your mobile phone's Settings to connect to the car radio's Bluetooth for audio output and enable USB debugging. Refer to your mobile phone's instruction manual for details on USB debugging and Bluetooth settings.
Pairing
Connect the unit with your smartphone using a USB cable. The unit will begin to project your smartphone's display once pairing is successful.

Troubleshooting
