Usage and Handling

Emergency and Malfunction

Disposal

Product Functions & Indicators
Display Indicators
- Battery Level Indicator: Shows remaining charge. The gauge decreases as the battery depletes. When it disappears, the low battery warning indicator appears.
- Charging Indicator: Shows charging status.
- Cleaning Reminder Indicator: Appears when the alcohol cleaning system needs cleaning or refilling.
- Replacement Reminder Indicator: Indicates it's time to replace the shaving head (recommended every 18 months).
- Travel Lock Indicator: Shows when the travel lock is activated.
Buttons
- Power Button: Press to turn the shaver on or off.
- Dashboard Button: Press to cycle through display information (battery, replacement reminder).
Charging
- Full charge takes approximately 1 hour.
- Recommended charging temperature: 5°C - 35°C (41°F - 95°F). Temperatures outside this range may affect charging performance.
- For first-time use, connect the power cord directly to the shaver or use the charging stand.
- For safety reasons, shavers designed for use in the bath/shower cannot be used while the power cord is plugged in.
Travel Lock
- Activate/deactivate by pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds.
- Prevents accidental activation during travel.
Usage and Maintenance
Recommended Usage Temperature
The recommended operating temperature for the shaver is 15°C - 35°C (59°F - 95°F). Avoid storing the shaver at temperatures above 50°C (122°F) for extended periods.
Shaving Techniques
The Series 7 features 360° Flex technology for closer contact with the skin.
Trimmer Usage
- Precision Trimmer: For shaping edges.
- Beard Trimmer: Attach desired comb length (1mm, 2mm, 3mm, 5mm, 7mm) and trim.
- Body Trimmer: Use with the dedicated comb attachment for delicate areas.
- Stubble Trimmer: Adjust the length setting (0.5-2.3 mm) to achieve the desired stubble length.
Cleaning Instructions
Water Washing:
- Turn the shaver ON under warm running water to rinse away hair clippings. Mild liquid detergent can be used. Rinse thoroughly. Run the shaver for a few seconds to shake off excess water.
- Turn the shaver OFF, remove the foil and cutter block (1), and let them dry.
- For regular water washing, apply a drop of lubricant to the foil and cutter block once a week (lubricant is not included).
Note: If using shaving foam or gel, clean the shaver thoroughly after each use.
Cleaning with Brush:
- Turn the shaver OFF, remove the foil and cutter block (1), and gently tap it on a flat surface to remove hair clippings.
- Use the included brush to clean the shaver head area. Do not brush the foil or cutter block directly, as this may cause damage.
Lubrication
Apply lubricant to the foil and cutter block weekly for optimal performance. Lubricant is not included.
Blade Replacement
Braun recommends replacing the foil and cutter block every 18 months for optimal shaving performance. The replacement cassette is F/C73S. Note the replacement date below.
Disposal and Recycling
This product contains a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Do not attempt to disassemble the appliance except for battery removal at the end of its useful life.
- Battery Disposal: Before disposing of the product, fully discharge the battery by running the shaver until it stops. Then, carefully remove the battery following the instructions (Page 15). Ensure the battery terminals are not short-circuited. Take the battery to a designated collection point for small rechargeable batteries.
- Environmental Protection: Do not dispose of this product or its battery in household waste. Recycle it at authorized electric waste collection points.
Warranty and After-Sales Service
Warranty Information
- The warranty period is 1 year from the date of purchase.
