Guidelines for Listing New Products
This document provides guidance on compliance when listing new products on Amazon.
1. Regulations on Providing Compliance Certification When Listing Products on Amazon
Amazon is committed to providing customers with safe and reliable products. Therefore, Amazon requires all products listed to be absolutely safe, posing no risk to life, health, or property.
When listing products on Amazon, sellers must fully comply with all applicable laws, current standards, and Amazon's policies regarding products and listings. Sellers must provide sufficient documentation to prove that their products meet safety standards and Amazon's compliance regulations.
Effective September 30, 2024: If Amazon requests product compliance documents, these must be submitted and approved before you can list the product.
This new regulation does not change existing compliance requirements or affect products already being sold. Amazon reserves the right to request additional information to verify product safety and compliance at any time.
