The InBio-series from ZKTeco offers advanced IP-based biometric door access control panels designed for robust security and efficient management.
Key Features
Truly Internal Biometric Identification
InBio controllers perform fingerprint matching directly on the panels. FR Series readers transmit fingerprint templates to InBio via RS485 for fast and accurate matching with stored database templates. Wiegand inputs are available for traditional RFID readers.
Communication
InBio controllers can be easily installed on your network and support both TCP/IP and RS-485 communication. An auto-discovery tool allows for direct and easy setting and modification of network parameters.
Capacity
Support for up to 3,000 fingerprint templates, 30,000 badge users, and storage for up to 100,000 events and transactions. Data is preserved if power is lost, and the controller continues to operate if the network connection is interrupted.
More than Door Control
Access additional control and interface capabilities. After programming, auxiliary relays can function as lights, alarms, and intrusion detection panels. Extra locking devices or gate controllers can be accessed.
Options
InBio controllers are available in 3 sizes to suit project needs and reduce the cost of unused capacity. 1-door, 2-door, and 4-door models can be mixed and matched in an optimized system architecture.
Advanced Access Control Built-in
Features include Anti-Passback, First-Card Opening, Multi-Card Opening, Duress Password Entry, and Auxiliary input/output linkages, all built into the controller firmware.

For Software Developers
A free SDK is available for integrators and OEMs to integrate the InBio controller with their existing security or personnel management applications. Upon request, ZKTeco can customize InBio firmware to meet specific customer requirements.

The InBio-series includes several panel models. The InBio160 and InBio260 are shown as compact units. The InBio460 is a larger unit, featuring multiple indicator lights and connection ports.

Typical Installation
The 'Typical Installation' diagram illustrates a networked access control system. A personal computer (PC) running 'ZKAccess 3.5' software is connected via TCP/IP to a network HUB. The HUB connects to the InBio-series controller. The InBio controller has connections for an 'Exit Button', a 'KR602E' reader, and 'Auxiliary Input' and 'Auxiliary Output' ports. The diagram also shows multiple doors, each equipped with an 'FR1200' fingerprint reader and a door sensor, connected to the InBio controller via RS485 communication lines.
