Introduction
The SONOFF TX Ultimate is a smart touch wall switch with LED lights that produce sound, light, and vibration effects when turned on/off. After adding it to the eWeLink App, you can remotely control on/off, switch the ambient lighting modes, set timers, and smart scenes on your phone.

Operation Instruction
The switch supports various touch operations:
- Quick click: A single, quick tap on the switch panel. Used to turn on/off switches and trigger smart scenes.
- Long press: Press and hold the switch panel for 5 seconds. Used to make the device enter pairing mode.
- Swipe: Swipe across the switch panel, ensuring the swipe distance exceeds 50% of its width. The T5-86 supports left/right swipe. Used to trigger a smart scene.
- Multi-point click: Multiple fingers clicking the switch panel simultaneously. Used to manually turn on/off the ambient light.

Installation
- Power off: Ensure the power supply is turned off before installation. Professional installation by an electrician is recommended to avoid electric shock hazards. Do not operate any connection or contact terminal connectors while the device is powered on.
- Wiring instruction:
- Switch mode: Refer to the wiring diagrams for 1-gang (1C), 2-gang (2C), 3-gang (3C), and 4-gang (4C) configurations. These diagrams show the connections for Live (L), Neutral (N), and the individual switch outputs (L1, L2, L3, L4) to the lights.
- Motor mode (T5-3C-86 only): For motor control, connect the positive rotation line to channel one and the reverse rotation line to channel three.
Safety Note: For safe electrical installation, use a Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) or Residual Current operated Circuit-breaker (RCBO) with an electrical rating of 10A (for T5-1C/2C-86) or 16A (for T5-3C/4C-86). Ensure all wires are connected correctly.
Power On and Pairing
Upon initial power-on, the device enters Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by the LED frame light in "Cycle mode." The device will exit pairing mode after 30 minutes if not paired. To re-enter pairing mode, touch the wall switch panel for 5 seconds until the LED frame light shows "Cycle mode."
Adding Device via eWeLink App
- Download the "eWeLink" App: Available on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Add device:
- Enter the "Scan" function in the app.
- Scan the QR code located on the device.
- Follow the wiring instructions to connect the wires, ensuring power is disconnected.
- Power on the device.
- Long press the switch button for 5 seconds to check the Wi-Fi LED indicator status (Cycle mode).
- Select "Add Device" in the app.
- Search for the device and start connecting.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
- The device will be added successfully.
Motor Mode Configuration
After wiring for motor mode, you can switch the device's working mode to "Motor mode" within the eWeLink App. This enables smart control of traditional motors (e.g., roller shutters, blinds, curtains, awnings) via smartphones, smart scenes, and voice commands.
- Applicable load: Supports bidirectional AC motors with limited position functions. Maximum motor load current is 1A.
- Working methods: Connect the positive rotation line to channel one for opening and the reverse rotation line to channel three for closing.
- App settings: Navigate to Device Settings, select "Working Mode," and choose "Motor mode."
Adding eWeLink-Remote Devices
- From the T5 device homepage, click the "..." icon.
- On the Device Settings page, click "eWeLink-Remote-devices."
- Click the "Add" button; the eWeLink-Remote gateway will enter learning mode.
- Click the sub-device button within 10 seconds.
- Click the button on the sub-device to add it.
Device Factory Reset
To perform a factory reset, first "Delete the Device" within the eWeLink App. For devices previously paired, a new pairing may be required using a different eWeLink account.
