How to Steer Your Lighting
When the product is connected to the mains power, it can be turned ON/OFF using the main switch or a foot switch. However, to dim the lights or connect your product to other IKEA Home smart products, you will need a separate steering device, such as a remote control.
The steering device must be paired with your wireless product. If you have multiple wireless products, you can pair each one with the steering device, allowing the entire combination to be turned ON/OFF or dimmed simultaneously.
Pairing a Steering Device to Your Product
- Ensure at least one (1) product is connected to the mains power and that the mains power is turned ON before beginning the pairing process.
- Locate the pairing symbol on the LED driver. Hold the steering device close to the pairing symbol, within 5 cm.
- Press and hold the pairing button on the steering device for at least 10 seconds. A steady red LED light will appear on the steering device. The product will then dim and flash once to indicate successful pairing with the steering device.
How to Factory Reset Your Driver
If the product is unresponsive or you wish to un-pair it from a steering device, a factory reset may be necessary. To perform a factory reset, carefully push and hold the small button (marked RESET) on the LED driver enclosure using a pen tip with slight pressure.
Important Information
- This product is designed for indoor use only and can be operated in temperatures ranging from 5°C to 45°C.
- Do not leave the product exposed to direct sunlight or near any heat source, as this may cause it to overheat.
- The declared radio range between the unit and the steering device is measured in open air.
- Various building materials and the placement of the units can influence the wireless connectivity range.

To clean the unit, wipe it with a dry, soft cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents, as these can damage the product.
