Operation
1. Power On / Off
Press and hold the power button to turn the device on or off. A short press (x1) typically indicates 'On', while a longer press (around 2 seconds) indicates 'Off'.
a. Bluetooth Mode
Pairing Mode:
- Turn on the speaker.
- Press the Bluetooth button (5) to enter pairing mode. The status indicator (6) will flash blue.
- On your device (e.g., smartphone, tablet), go to Bluetooth settings and select "Soundcore mini 2" from the list of available devices.
Connected:
- Once connected, the status indicator (6) will turn solid blue.
Troubleshooting Connection Issues:
- Remove "Soundcore mini 2" from your device's Bluetooth history.
- Ensure the speaker and your device are within 90 cm (3 feet) of each other.
- Repeat the pairing process.
- For optimal sound quality, ensure a clear line of sight between the speaker and your paired device.
True Wireless Stereo (TWS) Mode
With TWS technology, you can connect two Soundcore mini 2 speakers together for enhanced stereo sound.
- Turn on both speakers.
- On one speaker, press and hold the Bluetooth button (5) for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator flashes white.
- The second speaker will automatically connect. The indicator on both speakers will turn solid white when TWS is successfully connected.
- To exit TWS mode, press and hold the Bluetooth button (5) on either speaker for approximately 3 seconds.
b. AUX-In Mode
Connect an audio cable (SoundLine AUX cable sold separately) to the 3.5mm AUX input jack (9).
- When an audio cable is connected, the speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
- Audio playback and control are managed by the connected device.
Charging
Use the included USB cable to charge the Soundcore mini 2. Ensure it is fully charged before first use.
Charging Indicators:
- Flashing red ?: Low battery level.
- Solid red ?: Charging.
- No light: Battery fully charged.
- Disconnect the speaker from the charger once fully charged. Avoid prolonged charging periods.
