Assembly Steps

Follow the numbered steps carefully to assemble your BILLY bookcase.

Step 1: Prepare Panels

Insert wooden dowels (12x) into the designated holes on the side panels.

Parts Used: 12x Dowels (101351)

Step 2: Attach Base and Top

Attach the base and top panels to the side panels using the provided cam lock screws (8x) and cam locks (8x).

Parts Used: 8x Cam Lock Screws (118331), 8x Cam Locks (106989)

Step 3: Insert Back Panel

Slide the back panel into the grooves on the side and base panels.

Step 4: Secure Back Panel

Use screws (2x) to secure the back panel to the frame.

Parts Used: 2x Screws (151705)

Step 5: Attach Shelves

Insert shelf support pins (8x) into the desired shelf height holes on the side panels.

Place the shelves onto the support pins.

Parts Used: 8x Shelf Support Pins (131372)

Step 6: Attach Top Trim

Attach the top trim piece using screws (4x).

Parts Used: 4x Screws (119081)

Step 7: Insert Shelves

Place the remaining shelves onto the shelf support pins.

Step 8: Attach Feet

Attach the feet to the base of the bookcase using screws (2x).

Parts Used: 2x Screws (151706)

Step 9: Attach Handles (if applicable for OXBERG door version)

Attach handles to the door using screws (5x).

Parts Used: 5x Screws (153548)

Step 10: Wall Attachment Preparation

Identify the correct wall attachment brackets and screws for your wall type.

Note: Wall mounting hardware is not included.

Step 11: Secure to Wall

Attach the wall brackets to the top of the bookcase using screws (2x).

Parts Used: 2x Screws (101823)

Step 12: Final Wall Attachment

Attach the bookcase to the wall using the wall brackets and appropriate wall fixings.

Parts Used: 2x Wall Brackets (106989)

Step 13: Secure Top

Secure the top of the bookcase to the wall using the provided brackets and screws.

Parts Used: 2x Screws (109041)

Step 14: Insert Shelf Pins

Insert shelf pins (8x) into the desired holes for the adjustable shelves.

Parts Used: 8x Shelf Pins (131372)

Step 15: Place Shelves

Place the adjustable shelves onto the shelf pins.

Final Check

Ensure all parts are securely fastened and the bookcase is stable. Verify that the wall attachment is correctly installed to prevent tip-over.
