Unpacking and Initial Setup

Follow these steps to get your printer ready.

1. Remove Packaging Materials

   Carefully remove all tapes, cushions, and protective pads from the printer machine.

2. Power On Printer

   Plug in the printer and turn it on.

Software and Connectivity

1. Download HP Software

   Download HP software to complete the printer setup. Scan the QR code or visit 123.hp.com to download the HP Smart App or HP Easy Start. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect and set up your printer.

2. Get Setup Assistance

   For setup assistance, visit hp.com/support.

3. Important Notes

   Only wireless printer models are available.

   This guide is intended for use in China.

Toner Cartridge Installation

1. Prepare Printer Area and Cartridge

   Remove the cushion (A), label, and sheet (B) from the printer area.

   Pull the toner cartridge out of the machine.

   Remove the label and the protective cap completely from the toner cartridge.

2. Install Toner Cartridge

   Shake the toner cartridge gently from side to side approximately 10 times.

   Insert the prepared toner cartridge into the printer.

   Close the front cover of the printer.

Paper Loading

1. Prepare Paper Tray

   Open the paper tray.

   Adjust the tray size to match the size of the paper you are loading.

2. Load Paper

   Load paper into the tray and adjust the paper guides to fit the paper snugly.

   Close the paper tray.
