Always switch off and remove the charger from the socket before cleaning or performing maintenance.

The appliance can be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced capabilities if supervised and instructed on safe use, understanding the hazards. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance by children require supervision.

If the power cord is damaged, stop use immediately. An authorized Hoover service engineer must replace it to avoid hazards.

For areas with balconies or stairs, use a physical barrier to prevent access and ensure safe operation. Supervise small children and pets during cleaning.

Always store the appliance indoors. Do not use outdoors or expose to elements, humidity, or heating sources (oven, fireplace, wet floor). Avoid extreme temperatures (0-30°C).

Do not drop the Robot or use damaged accessories. Never unplug the power adaptor by the cord. Do not use to clean stairs.

Battery Charging

Use only the original charger. Ensure your supply voltage matches the charger's rating. Never charge batteries above 30°C or below 0°C. Plug the charger into a suitable socket.

Battery leaks may occur under extreme conditions. If liquid contacts skin, wash with water. If it contacts eyes, flush with clean water for 10 minutes and seek medical attention.

The charger may become warm during charging.

Use only Hoover-recommended attachments, consumables, or spares. Do not pick up hard/sharp objects, matches, hot ashes, or cigarette ends. Do not spray or pick up flammable liquids or aerosols.

Do not use faulty appliances or chargers. Servicing or repairs should only be carried out by authorized Hoover service engineers.

Do not use the appliance to clean animals or people. Do not replace batteries with non-rechargeable ones. If the Robot is not used for several weeks, unplug the mains power adaptor.

End of Life Battery Removal

Batteries must be removed before disposing of the appliance. Disconnect from mains supply before removal. Dispose of batteries safely.

Run the appliance until batteries are fully discharged. Used batteries should go to a recycling station, not household waste. Contact Hoover Customer Centre or follow instructions for removal (unplug, switch off, turn over, remove screws and cover, remove battery pack).

NOTE: For dismantling difficulties or recycling information, contact your local city office or waste disposal service.

Important Notes Before Use

Read this information carefully before using your Robot or accessories. Do not disassemble or attempt self-repair; contact Hoover After Sales Service for faults.

Stairs and Edges

The Robot uses sensors to avoid falling. Sensors may sometimes be confused. It cannot detect steps less than 8cm high, posing a fall risk. Use the Virtual Barrier if available.

Highly reflective or dark surfaces (glass, polished ceramics) can confuse sensors. Use the Virtual Barrier or place a carpet on lower steps. Avoid using the Robot on mezzanines or raised areas without borders; use the Virtual Barrier.

Battery Use

The Robot uses rechargeable lithium-ion batteries, guaranteed for 6 months with proper maintenance. For performance drops, replacement batteries are available from Hoover retailers. Use only Hoover-approved parts; unapproved parts are dangerous and void the warranty.

Use only the supplied charging station and mains power adaptor. Incorrect ones are dangerous and void the warranty.

Disposal must comply with local environmental regulations. For more information, contact your local city office, waste disposal service, or the shop where purchased.

Packaging

Do not discard packaging; it may be needed for warranty. Keep plastic bags away from children and animals to prevent suffocation.

Battery

For optimal performance, keep batteries fully charged. Leave the robot connected to the charger when not in use; the intelligent system prevents overcharging.

Ensure everyone in the room is aware of the robot's presence to avoid accidents.

Charging Station Setup

Before use, clear the robot's path of obstacles such as easily knocked-over objects, carpet edges, floor-length curtains, heat sources, power cords, and fragile items.

  1. Plug in the mains power adaptor and connect it to the charging station. Ensure the power cord is not caught underneath.
