Parts Identification

Installing the Grease Cartridge

Step 1: Prepare the Gun

Unscrew the grease gun head by rotating it counter-clockwise to open.

Step 2: Load the Cartridge

Pull the plunger rod upwards until it locks into place. Remove the black cap from the grease cartridge. Insert the grease cartridge into the gun's container tube.

Step 3: Secure the Gun Head

Screw the grease gun head back onto the container tube by rotating it clockwise to tighten.

Step 4: Engage the Plunger

Grasp the T-handle. Pull it back slightly, then press and hold the rod lock to release the plunger. Push the T-handle forward to advance the plunger into the cartridge.

Caution: Before tightening the grease gun head, peel off the foil cover from the cartridge. Do not press the lock while tightening the head, as grease may spray.

Assembling the Hose and Extension

Step 1: Attach Extension

Select either the 4.25-inch or 5.75-inch extension. Thread it onto the grease gun and tighten securely.

Step 2: Attach Nozzle

Attach the nozzle to the end of the selected extension.

Step 3: Connect Flexible Hose

Connect the flexible hose to the threads of the nozzle.

Step 4: Final Connection

At the end of the flexible hose, attach the 4-jaw coupler.

Important Notes

Note: If you experience an air lock during operation, loosen the grease gun head by 1/2 to 1 full turn to release trapped air. Retighten the head and continue using the gun.

Note: It is recommended to use tools such as pliers or an adjustable wrench to tighten the extension and coupler to the grease gun outlet sufficiently to prevent grease leaks.
