Parts Identification
Key components of the ValueMax 3-in-1 Staple Gun:
- 1. Strength Setting Knob: Used to adjust the depth of staple insertion.
- 2. Handle: The main grip for operating the stapler.
- 3. Handle Lock: Secures the handle in a closed position for storage.
- 4. Staple Exit Area: The point where the staple is driven into the material.
- 5. Metal Drive Channel Switch: Used to open the channel for loading staples or clearing jams.
Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to operate the staple gun:
To Operate
1. Hold the staple gun. Press the release latch to pull out the loading rod (as shown in Figure 1).
2. Place a stick of selected staples into the channel (as shown in Figure 2).
3. Replace the loading rod, ensuring it is firmly installed (as shown in Figure 3).
Note: The staple channel accommodates staples up to 7cm in total length.
4. Position the staple exit area where the staple is to be driven. Grasp the tacker and depress the handle until the mechanism releases and drives the staple. For best results, apply downward pressure to keep the exit area firmly against the material being stapled.
To Adjust the Strength
Rotate the strength setting knob to adjust the depth of the staples (as shown in Figure 4).
To Clear or Unload
Pull back the metal drive channel switch and open the channel (as shown in Figure 5). Remove any jammed staples or unload the tool. Close the channel.
To Lock Handle Down (For Storage)
Ensure the staple gun is unloaded. Hold the handle down and engage the handle lock (as shown in Figure 6).
Safety Instructions
- Read instructions carefully before operating and save for future reference.
- Operators and others in the work area should always wear safety glasses to prevent serious eye injury from fasteners and flying debris.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Never aim the staple exit at anyone.
- Know the materials you are stapling. Watch out for potential hazards like electrical wires.
- Do not overreach, as this can cause loss of balance or footing.
