Assembly Instructions
General Assembly Information
[IMPORTANT] To ensure safe operation of your product, please follow these instructions carefully. Keep these instructions for future reference.
[IMPORTANT] Before assembly and each use, inspect this product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts, or sharp edges. NEVER use if any parts are missing or broken.
[IMPORTANT] Adult assembly is required. Keep child away during unpacking and assembly.
Front Wheels
- Release the fold latch by pulling it outward.
- Unfold stroller frame by pulling backward on the stroller handle.
- Remove and discard the cap on the front wheel hub. This may require gripping the cap tightly and pulling out with force to remove completely.
- To attach the front wheels, lean the stroller back so it rests on the handle with the front and rear legs pointing upward. Position the front wheels over the front leg tubes, aligning the hole in the housing with the legs. Firmly push down until the wheels lock securely into place. Pull on the wheel assembly to ensure it is securely attached.
Rear Wheels
- Position the axle assembly over the rear leg tubes, with brake pedals facing the back. Push down with equal pressure on both sides until they lock into place.
NEVER use the stroller if wheels do not lock into place. If assistance is needed, contact customer service at 1-800-328-7363 (M-F, 8 am - 4:30 pm PST).
Child Tray
- To attach the child tray: Push the angled side of the tray onto the post at the end of the right armrest while pressing downward on the snap button until it locks. Rotate the tray downward until it latches onto the left armrest.
- Check that the snap button comes through and is securely in place.
- To access the child seat: Press the tray release button and rotate the tray upward.
Canopy
- To install the canopy, slide the male ends into the female slots on the stroller frame.
- Hook and loop both fasteners of the canopy fabric onto the frame on both sides.
- To open the canopy: Push forward on the front edge. To use the visor, flip it outward.
- To fold the canopy: Pull backward on the front edge.
- To remove the canopy: Press the release tab on the inside of the stroller frame and pull the canopy out. Repeat for the other side.
Assemble the parent tray before using this feature. Refer to step 5.
Mobile Phone Positioning Parent Tray
[Warning] Do not place hot liquids or more than 3 lb (1.36 kg) in the parent tray. Serious burns or unstable conditions can result.
[Warning] Care must be taken when folding the stroller to prevent damage. Ensure all accessories, mobile phones, diaper bags, or purses are removed before folding. Failure to remove items may result in damage to the stroller or items. Baby Trend® will not be liable or warrant any damage.
Align the mobile phone to the clip and insert it through the grips. Push the phone all the way down into the positioner. The positioner may not accommodate all mobile phones or devices. Do not use the positioner as a secure holder when the stroller is not in use, or if your phone is loose or too large.
Multi-Position Handle
- To adjust the handle, press the buttons to move the handle up or down to a comfortable position for the user.
Basket
- The rear basket tube must be installed prior to use. Insert the female end of the rear basket tube into the male ends on the basket frame until it locks into place.
Brakes
[Warning] Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed so that it will not roll away. NEVER leave the stroller unattended on a hill or incline, as it may slide down.
To engage brakes: Apply light downward pressure to the brake lever on each rear wheel. You may need to slightly move the stroller forward or backward to align the brake teeth with the wheel brake cluster. Check that the stroller does not move and both brakes are properly applied.
To release: Gently lift up on the brake lever.
Safety Harness
- Snap the side of the seat pad onto the inner sides of the frame. Repeat for the other side.
- The shoulder straps of the 5-point harness have 3 attachment positions. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below, the top of the child's shoulder. To adjust harness height, unhook the shoulder strap from the crotch buckle.
- Feed the shoulder strap through the harness spread slots (accessible from the rear of the seat underneath the fabric). Feed the strap through the appropriate slot and reattach to the crotch buckle.
- Carefully place the child in the stroller seat. Bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap. Tighten the harness to be snug around the child's waist and over the child's shoulders.
Seat Back Position
[Warning] The upright position should be used only for a child that is at least 6 months old.
[Warning] Never use the seat in a reclined carriage position unless the enclosure is raised to cover the front opening. The child may slip into leg openings and strangle.
Infant Car Seat Attachment
Compatibility: CS01 EZ-Lift, CS02 EZ-Lift PLUS, and CS03 EZ-Lift PRO Infant Car Seats must attach to the module of the stroller's front seat. These models require child tray and seat back adjustment to the most reclined position.
To Attach:
- From the rear side of the stroller, engage both car seat support tabs.
- Align the car seat module to the inner frame connectors. Carefully lower into the stroller to latch the car seat. Press down firmly for the click. ALWAYS ensure the car seat is properly connected and locked onto the stroller before each use by lifting up on the car seat handle.
To make seat position adjustments, refer to step 11.
Removing the Car Seat
- Set the handle to the carry position. Squeeze the release handle located at the top-rear of the car seat and lift away from the stroller.
- From the rear side of the stroller, disengage both car seat support tabs.
Other Compatible Car Seats
To Attach:
- Put the stroller seat in the full recline position (refer to Fig. 11). Turn car seat support tabs on the stroller frame.
- Position the infant car seat so that it faces toward the rear of the stroller. Push the car seat into the front tray until it latches into place. The rear of the car seat rests on the support tabs. Put the stroller seat in the most upright position for additional support (refer to Fig. 11).
- When the infant car seat is locked firmly into place, secure the single short clip over the infant car seat through the belt path on the infant car seat. It is very important that the short clip is always tightly fastened around the infant car seat. Always secure your child with the car seat harness when using the car seat in the stroller. If your child is already in the car seat, check that the child is secured with the harness. Improper use may result in serious injury or death.
Removing the car seat from the child tray:
- First, use the carry handle buttons to rotate it to the carry position. Remove the short clip from the infant car seat.

[Warning] Care must be taken when folding and unfolding the stroller to prevent finger entrapment.
[Caution] Do not allow children near the stroller while folding.
To Fold the Stroller:
- Slide the thumb trigger to the left and squeeze the pull trigger while pushing forward on the handle.
- Once the stroller begins to fold, release the handle and push forward on the handle until the stroller is folded. Use the fold latch to secure the stroller.
