Any product subjected to misuse, abuse, abnormal use, excessive wear and tear, improper assembly, negligence, environmental exposure, alteration, or accident, or with an altered/removed serial number invalidates all claims against the manufacturer. Any damage to property during installation is the sole responsibility of the end user.

WARNING: Failure to follow these instructions could result in serious injury or death. Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out, always use the safety harness and insure that the children are properly positioned according to these instructions.

WARNING: Never leave children unattended.

WARNING: Care must be taken when folding and unfolding the stroller to prevent finger entrapment.

CAUTION: This stroller is designed for one child only. Use with more than one child may cause an unbalanced condition which can injure/harm your child.

Purses, shopping bags, parcels, diaper bags or accessory items may change the balance of the stroller and cause a hazardous, unstable condition.

The maximum weight that can be carried in the storage basket is 5 lb (2.27 kg). The maximum weight that can be carried in the Parent Tray and Child Tray is 3 lb (1.36 kg) each. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist.

Be certain the stroller is completely opened and locked in place before allowing a child near the stroller.

The maximum weight capacity of this stroller is up to 50 pounds (22.62 kg) or 40 inches (101.6 cm). Additional weight will cause excessive wear and stress on the stroller and may cause a hazardous unstable condition to exist.

To clean, use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.

Check your stroller for loose screws, worn parts, torn material or stitching on a regular basis. Replace or repair parts as needed.

Discontinue use of stroller should it malfunction or become damaged. Please contact our customer service department to arrange for repair or obtain replacement parts.

Assembly Instructions

IMPORTANT: To ensure safe operation of your product, please follow these instructions carefully. Please keep these instructions for future reference.

IMPORTANT: Before assembly and each use, inspect this product for damaged hardware, loose joints, missing parts or sharp edges. NEVER use if any parts are missing or broken.

IMPORTANT: Adult assembly is required. Keep child away during unpacking and assembly.

Front Wheels

The front wheels, rear wheels, child tray, and parent tray MUST be installed prior to use.

  1. Release the fold latch by pulling it outward (See Figure 1a).
  2. Unfold stroller frame by pulling backward on the stroller handle (See Figure 1b).
  3. Remove and discard the cap on the front wheel hub. Note: May require to grip the cap tightly and pull out with force to remove completely (See Figure 1c).
  4. To attach the front wheels, lean the stroller back so that it rests on the handle with the front and rear legs pointing upward. Position the front wheels over the front leg tubes so that the hole in the housing lines up and will slide onto the legs. Firmly push down until the wheels lock securely into place. Note: Pull on the wheel assembly to ensure that it is securely attached to the stroller (See Figure 1d).

Rear Wheels

  1. Position axle assembly over the rear leg tubes, brake pedals facing the back. At the same time, push down applying equal pressure to both sides until they lock into place (See Figure 2).

NOTE: NEVER use stroller if wheels do not lock into place. If you need assistance, please contact our customer service department at 1-800-328-7363, M-F, between 8am and 4:30pm, PST.

Child Tray

  1. To attach the child tray: push the angled side of the tray onto the post at the end of the right armrest while pressing downward on the snap button, until locking in place. Rotate the tray downward until it latches onto the left armrest into place (See Figure 3a and 3b).
  2. Check that the snap button comes through and securely in place (See Figure 3c).
  3. To access the child seat: Press tray release button and rotate upward on the tray (See Figure 3d).

Canopy

  1. To install the canopy, slide the male ends of the canopy into the female slots on the stroller frame. Hook and loop both fasteners of the canopy fabric onto the frame on both sides (See Figure 4a and 4b).
  2. NOTE: Assemble the parent tray before using this feature. Refer to step 5.
  3. To open the canopy: push forward on the front edge of the canopy. To use the visor flip outward (See Figure 4c and 4d).
  4. To fold the canopy: pull backwards on the front edge (See Figure 4c).
  5. To remove the canopy, press the release tab on the inside of the stroller frame. Pull the canopy out. Repeat for the other side (See Figure 4e and 4f).

Mobile Phone Positioning Parent Tray

WARNING: Do not place hot liquids or more than 3 lb (1.36 kg) in the parent tray. Serious burns or unstable conditions can result.

WARNING: Care must be taken when folding stroller to prevent damage. Make sure all accessories, mobile phones, diaper bags or purses are removed before folding. Failure to remove items may result in damage to the stroller or the item(s). Baby Trend® will not be liable or warrant any damage.

  1. Before Attaching The Tray: Face the tray with the prominent arch side towards the canopy. Locate the six attachment straps (See Figure 5a).
  2. Flip tray over with slots facing towards the seat and canopy (See Figure 5b). NOTE: Pairing the straps of the seat and canopy together is required (See Figure 5c).
  3. Pair the straps and insert into the tray slots. Ensure the right and left straps enter through the slit tray before fastening (See Figure 5d).
  4. Align both straps with the designated tab and fasten in place (See Figure 5e).
  5. Flip the tray over and align the parent tray tabs to the inner tabs on both sides of the stroller. Press the tray down firmly until both tabs click into position (See Figure 5f).

To adjust the canopy: Adjust the canopy hook and loop fasteners on each side of the stroller frame (See Figure 5g).

Mobile phone positioner: Align mobile phone to the clip and insert it through the grips. Make sure to push the phone all the way down into the positioner (See Figure 5h). NOTE: The positioner may not accommodate all mobile phones or other devices. Do not use positioner as a secure holder when stroller is not in use or if your phone is loose or is too large.

Multi-Position Handle

  1. To adjust the handle, press the buttons to move the handle up or down to a comfort position for the user (See Figure 6).

Basket

  1. Rear basket tube needs to be installed prior to use. Insert the female end of the rear basket tube into the male ends located on the basket frame until it locks into place (See Figure 7).

Brakes

WARNING: Always set brakes when the stroller is not being pushed so that the stroller will not roll away. NEVER leave stroller unattended on a hill or incline as the stroller may slide down the hill.

  1. To engage brakes, apply light downward pressure to the brake lever located on each rear wheel. The stroller may require slight forward or rearward movement in order to line up the teeth on the brake with each wheel brake cluster (See Figure 8).
  2. NOTE: Check that the stroller will not move and that both brakes are properly applied.
  3. To release, gently lift up on the brake lever (See Figure 8).

Safety - Securing the Child

WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use the safety harness.

STRANGULATION HAZARD: Child can strangle in loose straps. Never leave child in seat when straps are loose or undone.

ADVERTENCIA: Evite lesiones graves por caídas o resbalones. Siempre use el arnés de seguridad.

PELIGRO DE ESTRANGULAMIENTO: El niño se puede estrangular con las correas sueltas. Nunca deje al niño en el asiento cuando las correas estén sueltas o sin terminar de colocar.

  1. Snap the side of seat pad onto the inner sides of the frame. Repeat for the other side (See Figure 9a).
  2. The shoulder straps of the 5-point harness have 3 attachment positions. Select the position that places the shoulder strap level with, or below the top of the child's shoulder. To adjust harness height unhook the shoulder strap from the crotch buckle (See Figure 9b).
  3. Feed the shoulder strap through the harness spread slots. You can access these slots from the rear of the seat underneath the fabric. Feed shoulder strap through appropriate slot and reattach shoulder strap to crotch buckle (See Figure 9c).
  4. Carefully place the child in the stroller seat and bring the safety harness around the child's waist and over the shoulders. Place the crotch strap between the child's legs. Insert the male end of each shoulder/waist belt into the buckle on the crotch strap. Tighten the harness to be snug around the child's waist and over the child's shoulders (See Figure 9d).
  5. Push Button on Center Clasp, the two Harness Buckles will pop free (See Figure 10).

Seat Back Position

WARNING: The upright position should be used only for a child that is at least 6 months old.

WARNING: Never use seat in a reclined carriage position unless enclosure is raised to cover the front opening. Child may slip into leg openings and strangle.

Infant Car Seat Attachment

WARNING: Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out, always use the Infant Car Seat harness.

  1. Put the stroller seat in the full recline position (See Figure 11). Turn car seat support tabs on the stroller frame (See Figure 12a). Car Seat Support Tabs are only used for the infant car seat. Check that the front child tray is firmly attached to the stroller armrests.
  2. Position the infant car seat so that it faces toward the rear of the stroller. Push the car seat into the front tray until it latches into place (See Figure 12b). The rear of the car seat rests on the support tabs. Put the stroller seat in the most upright position for additional support (See Figure 11).
  3. When the infant car seat is locked firmly into place, secure the single short clip over the infant car seat through the belt path on the infant car seat (See Figure 12c). It is very important that the short clip is always tightly fastened around the infant car seat. Always secure your child with the car seat harness when using the car seat in the stroller. If your child is already in the car seat, check that the child is secured with the harness. Improper use of the stroller with the car seat may result in serious injury or death.

Removing the car seat from the child tray

  1. First use the carry handle buttons to rotate it to the carry position (See Figure 13a). Remove the short clip from the infant car seat (See Figure 13b).
  2. To remove the Infant Car Seat, squeeze the release handle located at the Top-rear of the seat and carefully lift upward on the seat. From the rear side of the stroller disengage both car seat support tabs (See Figure 13c and 13d).

Folding and Unfolding the Stroller

WARNING: Care must be taken when folding and unfolding the stroller to prevent finger entrapment.

  1. To fold the stroller slide the thumb trigger to the left and squeeze the pull trigger while pushing forward on the handle (See Figure 14a).
  2. Once the stroller begins to fold, release the handle and push forward on the handle until the stroller is folded. Use the fold latch to secure the stroller (See Figure 14b and 14c).

CAUTION: Do not allow children near stroller while unfolding.

  1. Release the fold latch (See Figure 15a) and unfold stroller frame by pulling upward on the stroller handle until the frame locks (See Figure 15b).

Maintenance

Seat Pad

To clean the seat pad, use only mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.

Front Wheel Maintenance

  1. If replacing the front wheel, press the pin located behind the wheel hub. Pull the wheel out from the hub (See Figure 16).

Rear Wheel Maintenance

  1. If replacing the rear axle, press the pin on each side behind the wheel hub. Pull the rear axle out from the hub (See Figure 17).

Canopy / Parent Tray Maintenance

  1. Removal: Under the stroller frame locate the parent tray tabs. Press them inwards and lift up the tray from the housing. To detach both tray and canopy reverse steps 4 through 5 (See Figure 18).
