Programmable Weight Indicators

1280 Enterprise™ Series

The 1280 Enterprise Series programmable indicator offers fast operation and scalability. It features over 150 built-in functions and custom applications can be developed using Rice Lake's iRite® software. The indicator boasts a highly customizable graphical display, a quad-core processor, and the ability to power up to eight scales. Its durable color touchscreen is available in 7- or 12-inch LCD sizes, usable even with gloves. A built-in web server allows for remote access, system integration, and data monitoring. The 1280 can communicate with handheld devices, printers, PLCs, or PCs. It is constructed with industrial-grade components and stainless steel enclosures. The universal mount is rated IP69K, the wall mount is IP66, and the panel mount is IP69K with NEMA Type 4X and 12.

920i® and 720i™ Series

920i: The 920i programmable digital weight indicator automates complex industrial processes with user-friendly operation. It supports multiple scale channels and various scale types, including serial scale, total scale, and digital diagnostic junction box. Custom programs can store ID numbers, transactions, formulas, label formats, and PLUs. It features a customizable display with 10 screens and softkeys, and is expandable with up to 14 option card slots. Serial communication, USB, and Ethernet are available.

720i: The 720i programmable digital weight indicator offers high-end features at a mid-level price point. It supports programmable or batching firmware and includes truck in/out selections and advanced truck weighing features. It can store up to 1,000 truck in/out records, has eight onboard digital I/O, and one option card slot with eight available cards.

880 Performance™ Series

The 880 Performance Series is built for enhanced communication, available in two enclosure types. It offers programmability and an option slot for fieldbus communications or additional serial ports/digital I/O. Key features include onboard USB, Ethernet TCP/IP, RS-232/RS-485, NEMA Type 4X/IP69K enclosure, a batch engine with 20 setpoints and 12 setpoint types, multi-range/multi-interval weighing, a 0.56-inch LED display, and four digital I/O channels. Custom ticket and stream formatting, along with iRite programmability, enhance functionality. It can be panel or door mounted.

The 682 Synergy Plus digital weight indicator combines advanced features with simple operation. Its 304 stainless steel construction and IP69 rating make it suitable for high-pressure, high-temperature washdown environments. Features include a bright LCD screen, configurable softkeys, and a user-friendly interface. Connections for external devices and networks are available, along with a built-in web server for remote monitoring and process control. An integrated truck in/out mode is designed for vehicle scales.

The 680HE hostile environment weight indicator is designed for corrosive environments, such as those with high concentrations of chlorine. It features an FRP enclosure and IP66 rating for protection. The large display and local/remote capability allow it to be used as a secondary display. The display color can be configured as red or green for visibility. Multiple communication options allow connection to printers and PCs.

The Legend Plus models include a numeric keypad for data entry.

381 Synergy Series

The 381 Synergy Series with an ABS plastic enclosure is a reliable and cost-effective solution for portable weighing. The AA battery model offers up to 40 hours of operation and an IP54 rating. The NiMH battery model provides up to 80 hours of operation with an IP66 rating. An optional external power supply is also available.

Signal Conditioning Transmitters

SCT Series

Signal condition transmitters (SCTs) offer weight data control for PLCs and are more compact than traditional weight indicators. They allow direct reading and diagnosis of individual load cells or system load cells. Functions are shown in real-time for quick analysis. SCTs can manage multiple load cells and integrate with Rice Lake Tools software. Fieldbus communications, Bluetooth®, Wi-Fi, and radio interfaces are supported. Real and theoretical calibrations are available.

SCT-4XD / 1280 HMI Belt/Solid Flow Metering

The SCT-4XD is a high-speed integrator designed to manage up to four load cells with up to 100 conv/sec updates. It offers two operating modes: belt or solid flow metering. The SCT-4XD integrates seamlessly with DIN rail when an operator HMI is not required.
