EU Regulations
RED Declaration of Conformity
Xiaomi Communications Co., Ltd. declares that this device complies with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of the RE Directive 2014/53/EU. The full text of the EU declaration of conformity is available at: www.mi.com/en/certification
RF Exposure Information (SAR)
This device complies with Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for general population/uncontrolled exposure (10-gram SAR for head and trunk, limit: 2.0W/kg) as specified by Council Recommendation 1999/519/EC, ICNIRP Guidelines, and RED (Directive 2014/53/EU). During SAR testing, the device transmitted at its highest certified power level in all tested frequency bands. For body operation, compliance is based on a separation distance of 5 mm between the unit and the human body. To ensure compliance, the device should be carried at least 5 mm away from the body. Use a belt clip or holster without metallic components for body-worn use. RF exposure compliance with metal accessories worn on the body has not been tested or certified and should be avoided.
Certification Information (Highest SAR):
- SAR 10 g limit: 2.0 W/Kg
- SAR Value: Head: 0.980 W/Kg, Body: 0.998 W/Kg (5 mm distance).
Frequency Bands and Power
This mobile phone operates within the following frequency bands in EU areas with maximum radio-frequency power:
- GSM 900: 35.5 dBm
- GSM 1800: 32.5 dBm
- WCDMA band 1/8: 25.7 dBm
- LTE band 1/3/7/8/20/28/38/40/41: 25.7 dBm
- Bluetooth: 20 dBm

- NFC: 13.56 MHz < 42 dBuA/m at 10m
FCC Regulations
This mobile phone complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) it may not cause harmful interference, and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. The device has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, providing reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. Improper installation or use may cause harmful interference to radio communications. If interference occurs, users are encouraged to try correcting it by reorienting the antenna, increasing separation between equipment and receiver, connecting to a different circuit, or consulting a dealer or technician.
RF Exposure Information (SAR) - FCC
This device meets government requirements for radio wave exposure. It is designed and manufactured not to exceed emission limits for radio frequency (RF) energy. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/Kg. For body-worn operation, the device has been tested and meets FCC RF exposure guidelines for use with non-metal accessories, maintaining a minimum distance of 1.5 cm from the body. Use of body-worn accessories containing metal has not been tested or certified and should be avoided. Any accessory used for body-worn operation must maintain a minimum distance of 1.5 cm from the body.
FCC Note: Unauthorized modifications may void the user's authority to operate the equipment. Shielded cables must be used to ensure compliance with FCC Class B limits.
E-label: Certification information can be accessed via Settings > About phone > Certification.
