RF Exposure Information (SAR)
The POCO X7 complies with Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) limits for general population/uncontrolled exposure. The device is designed to operate within these limits, with specific guidelines for head and body usage. Body operation compliance requires a minimum separation of 5 mm from the body. Users should avoid accessories containing metal when carrying the device on the body.
Highest SAR values reported are: Head: 0.994 W/Kg, Body: 0.992 W/Kg (at 5 mm distance).
Frequency Bands and Power
The device supports various frequency bands including GSM, UMTS, LTE, and 5G NR. Maximum radio-frequency power levels are specified for each band. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionalities are also detailed with their respective power outputs.
FCC Regulations
The POCO X7 complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to conditions that prevent harmful interference. The device has been tested and found to comply with Class B digital device limits. For body-worn operation, the device meets FCC RF exposure guidelines when used with non-metallic accessories, maintaining a minimum distance of 1.0 cm from the body.
Safety Precautions
- Observe all applicable laws and rules restricting mobile phone use in specific situations and environments.
- Do not use the phone in explosive atmospheres, fueling areas, or areas with chemicals or metal powders.
- Avoid using the phone in hospital operating rooms, emergency rooms, or intensive care units. Consult a doctor if you have a medical device, especially a pacemaker, maintaining at least 15 cm separation.
- Comply with aircraft safety regulations and turn off the phone on board aircraft when required.
- Use the phone in accordance with traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Do not use the phone outdoors during thunderstorms to avoid lightning strikes.
- Do not use the phone for calls while charging.
- Avoid using the phone in high humidity environments to prevent electric shock or damage.
- Charging the device: Use the included USB data cable and a Mi brand charger with a maximum output of 45W. Ensure the power adapter complies with applicable safety standards.
- Charging compatibility: Third-party chargers complying with USB2.0 or higher standards and relevant safety standards (IEC 60950, IEC 62368-1) can be used.
Legal Information
The device can be operated in all EU member states. Restrictions apply for specific frequency bands in certain countries, particularly for indoor use in the 5250 to 5350 MHz range. Wi-Fi functionality may vary based on regional availability and local network support.
