Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why does the baby monitor not respond normally?
Try this sequence: Disconnect power from both units, remove and reinstall parent unit batteries, reconnect power, turn on both units, and wait up to one minute for synchronization.
Why don't the power-on lights turn on?
Ensure both parent and baby units are properly connected to power adapters and wall sockets, and that the ON/OFF switches are in the correct position.
Why doesn't my parent unit charge?
Check that the power is not controlled by a wall switch and that the battery is correctly installed.
Why is my screen in black and white?
This is normal when the night vision feature is activated in dark conditions.
Why do I get glare or blurry display at night?
Adjust the baby unit's angle or placement to prevent glare and improve image quality.
Why does the baby monitor produce a high-pitched noise?
The parent and baby units may be too close. Move them further apart or lower the parent unit's volume.
Why does the parent unit beep?
Possible causes include: baby unit out of range (move parent unit closer, but maintain 1m distance), low parent unit battery charge, or room temperature being too high or too low.
Why does the parent unit react too quickly to other sounds?
Adjust the VOX sensitivity level to a lower setting or lower the parent unit speaker volume.
Why don't I hear a sound / Why can't I hear my baby cry?
The parent unit speaker volume may be too low (increase it). Alternatively, the VOX sensitivity level might be too low (increase it).
Why can't I establish a connection / Why is the connection lost / Why are there sound interruptions?
The baby unit may be out of range (move parent unit closer, maintaining 1m distance). Other electronic products may cause interference; place the monitor as far as possible from them. If only one baby unit is powered on, ensure you are viewing the correct one using the VIEW button.
