PINNTORP Chair Assembly Instructions
This document provides instructions for assembling the PINNTORP chair.
Tools Required
The following tools are recommended for assembly:
- Phillips head screwdriver (cross symbol ❌)
- Flat head screwdriver (circle symbol ⚪)

Before You Begin
- Ensure you have all parts and hardware before starting.
- Assemble on a soft surface, like a carpet, to prevent scratches.
- Do not force parts together.
- If you encounter issues, consult the IKEA customer support.

- 1x Seat Frame (Part 122620)
- 14x Screw (Part 122925)
- 4x Dowel
- 4x Connecting Bracket
Assembly Steps

Step 1
Attach connecting brackets to the seat frame using screws. Insert four screws (122620) through the brackets into the pre-drilled holes on the seat frame.

Step 2
Connect the side rails to the seat frame. Ensure the correct orientation of the side rails as shown in the diagram (avoiding the incorrect placement).

Step 3
Attach the back support to the seat frame. Insert dowels into the seat frame and then attach the back support.

Step 4
Attach the legs to the seat frame. Insert dowels into the seat frame and then attach the legs, securing them with screws (101350).

Step 5
Secure the backrest to the legs. Use screws (104321) to attach the backrest to the legs. A tool (10083377) is used to tighten the screws.

Step 6
Attach the second set of legs to the backrest assembly. Use screws (104321) to secure the legs.

Step 7
Turn the chair upright. Carefully place the assembled chair onto its legs.

Step 8
Secure the seat. Push the seat down into place, ensuring it clicks or fits snugly. Avoid forcing the seat.

Step 9
Final tightening. Use screws (122925) to secure the seat to the frame. Ensure all screws are tightened appropriately.
