- Once the key is in position 3, remove it.
Reverse this process to disengage the steering lock.
Driving the Boomerbeast
Engaging the Motor
The throttle is located on the right handlebar and is rotated towards you (back of hand towards your body). The throttle is sensitive; turn it slowly. Ensure you are on the unit and can easily access the brakes.
Braking
The Boomerbeast 2 is equipped with a front and rear hydraulic disc braking system for quick stopping. Brake handles are located on both sides. The left brake handle controls the rear brakes, and the right handle controls the front brakes. Refer to the next page for engaging the brake lock.
Important Note: Always use the rear braking first before applying the front brake to avoid injury.
Engaging the Brake Lock
The Boomerbeast features a brake lock to prevent rolling, especially when parked on a hill.
To engage the brake lock:
- Pull the brake lever on the left side towards you as much as possible.
- Use your other hand or finger to pull the latch into the grooves of the brake lever.
- Release the brake lever and confirm the brakes are held in the pressed position.
To disengage the brake lock, pull the brake lever slightly further towards you; the latch will pop out. Release the brake lever to be ready to ride.

Bluetooth Connectivity
The Boomerbeast can connect via Bluetooth to enhance torque range and other features. Download the Daymak Drive app at www.daymak.com/app.
Once the app is open, it will display nearby Bluetooth devices, including the front and rear motors. Connect to the motor. For the initial connection, you will need to input the password: 12345678.
Note: To connect to the unit, the Boomerbeast must be in the ON position (refer to 'Turning on your unit').
After connecting, a speedometer will appear, and you are ready to go.
For more information on the Daymak Drive App, consult the quick guide available at: http://daymak.com/manuals/Daymak%20Drive%20Manual.pdf.
Note: The Boomerbeast D models have two controllers. Changes affecting one motor will not impact the other. Most settings should not be altered without consulting the Bluetooth manual.

Display
Above the ignition, a display shows your Boomerbeast's metrics and performance:
- 1) Speed: Displays current speed in km/h.
- 2) Motor Power: Indicates the power being drawn from the motor. Higher power draw leads to faster battery drain.
- 3) Odometer: Shows the total kilometers traveled on the unit.
- 4) Battery Meter: Displays the remaining battery power. It is advisable to charge when below 50%.
Note: The battery meter may temporarily dip when the unit starts and then stabilize. This is normal.
Boomerbeast D - Motor Switch
Boomerbeast D models feature a green switch on the left handlebar to select between dual or single motor operation.
- Switch Up: Engages only the rear motor.
- Switch Down: Engages both front and rear motors.
Note: The battery will drain significantly faster with both motors running. All range estimates are based on single motor use.
Charging the Unit
After use, your Boomerbeast needs to be charged. A charger is provided that plugs into a regular outlet. (The deluxe unit charger may differ slightly in appearance but functions the same way).
The charging port is located underneath the seat, between your legs.
When the charger is plugged into the wall (but not the unit), the light is green. Plug the charger into the unit's charging port; the charger LED will turn red. Once fully charged, the charger light will turn green again, and you can unplug the unit.
Important Note: Do not leave the charger plugged in for extended periods after charging is complete, as this can degrade battery life and pose a fire hazard.
You can charge the unit at any time, regardless of the battery level. Charging before the battery is fully depleted does not count as a full battery cycle.
Remote / Alarm
The Boomerbeast includes a remote with multiple functions:
- 1) Panic Button: Press to set off the alarm, useful for emergencies or locating the vehicle.
- 2) Unlock Button: Press to disable the alarm. Use this before riding.
- 3) Lock Button: Press to arm the alarm. The alarm will engage 5 seconds after arming. Use this after finishing your ride.
- 4) Remote Start: Press twice to start the bike without keys. Press the unlock button (2) to disengage remote start.
- 5) Ignition Key: Used to turn on the unit and engage the steering lock.
Note: Keys may appear different from those shown.
Foot Rests
The Boomerbeast features extendable foot rests to accommodate different riding styles.
To extend the foot rests, push them towards the Boomerbeast with your feet; they will pop out. To retract them, reverse this process, pushing them towards the sides of the Boomerbeast.
The Controller
Daymak Drive Bluetooth Controller
The Daymak Drive controller manages the unit's functions when a button is pressed or a switch is activated. It is located underneath the seat and should not be tampered with by consumers. For any controller issues, consult a licensed Daymak dealer.
Note: Boomerbeast D models have two controllers.
Refer to the next page for instructions on accessing the controller.
Accessing the Controller / Circuit Breaker
Accessing the Under-Seat Compartment
Behind the seat, two bolts secure the seat rest. Use an Allen Key to unscrew these bolts and lift the bar to access the under-seat compartment.
Note: This area is not intended for storage.
Circuit Breaker
To protect against surges, the Boomerbeast is equipped with a circuit breaker located underneath the seat, above the controller. A blue switch will trigger and turn off the entire unit in the event of a surge.
If the unit does not turn on at all (no display activity when the key is in the ignition), the circuit breaker is likely switched off. Open the seat lock (refer to the previous page for location) and switch the circuit breaker to the ON position.
Boomerbeast D models have two circuit breakers; both must be ON for full power.
Seat
The Boomerbeast seat has movable arm rests that can be adjusted up and down for easier mounting and dismounting.
The seat can be slid slightly forward or backward by holding the lever and pushing the seat in the desired direction.
Mirrors
The Boomerbeast comes with mirrors that screw onto each handlebar. Install each mirror on its corresponding side (left mirror on the left, right on the right). Loosely position the mirror, then use a wrench to tighten the bolt at the bottom to secure it.
Note: Mirrors may appear slightly different from the ones shown.
Rear Rack
The rear of the Boomerbeast features a carrying rack. This rack can be used to mount a case or store goods as needed.
Maintenance
- Always ensure tire pressure is at the recommended value, typically found on the tire sidewall.
- Before riding, check that the brakes are firm and the unit does not move when the brakes are applied.
- Verify that all lights (headlights, brake lights, signal lights) are functioning correctly.
- When storing the unit outdoors, use a cover to protect it from weather damage. If possible, bring the entire unit inside; otherwise, bring the battery inside.
- Consider a yearly check-up at a local Daymak dealer.
- Do not overcharge the battery; unplug the charger as soon as it is fully charged.
Tips and Tricks
- Engage the brake lock whenever you get off the vehicle. This prevents it from rolling downhill and stops accidental motor engagement while parked.
- When using the throttle, start slowly to gauge how quickly the unit accelerates.
- For braking, use the rear brakes first, followed by the front brakes, for the safest stopping.
- For extended periods of parking outdoors, an additional lock is recommended to secure the frame against theft.
- Avoid randomly changing settings in the Bluetooth app if you are unfamiliar with them, as this may damage the unit. Consult the manual before making changes.
- If the display does not turn on when the key is inserted, check the circuit breaker switch underneath the seat to ensure it is set to "ON".
- If the unit powers on (display active) but the motor does not engage, ensure the brake lock is not engaged. The motor will not engage if any brake is pressed.
