CAUTIONS
This section contains important information to ensure the user's safety and prevent potential damage to property. Please, read this section carefully and use the product accordingly.
- Master PIN Code: Default Master PIN code is [12345678], please modify it immediately.
- User PIN Code: It can be 6~12 digits number. You can register up to 10 users.
- Card: Maximum capacity is 100 with user number [00-99].
- Fingerprint: Maximum capacity is 100 with user number [00-99].
- Be sure to correctly match the poles (+/-) when installing the batteries.
- Replace all batteries immediately after they run out of power, and never mix new batteries with used ones.

Before Installation
Confirm open direction: This product can be installed on left-in, left-out, right-in, and right-out doors.

Installation
- Mark and drill bores by using the installation template first, then fix the mortise into the frame.
- Keep deadbolt inside of lock body during installation.
- Select the square shafts of the proper length according to the door thickness.
- Install the square shaft and pressure spring into the bore. Ensure the spring is downward and fits loosely.
- Install the mounting plate with fixing screws.
- Place the outside escutcheon assembly onto the door, aligning the square shaft and connecting bolts.
- Tighten the 2 fixing screws.
- Change open direction: Please change the position of screws according to the open direction.
- Install the batteries and cover the rubber plug.
- After installing the striker assembly, please check if the lock works smoothly by opening/closing the door.
- Test if the mechanical key works smoothly after installation.
How to set up your product
5.1 How to access into master mode
- Touching the keypad area will light up the number pad.
- Press [*] twice, then enter the master PIN code [default is 12345678] followed by [#]. You will hear the voice prompt "Master mode".
Note: Change master PIN code is required immediately for menu operation.
User settings
- Enroll User PIN Code: Access master mode, press [1] for user setting, then press [1] to enroll user PIN code. Enter a 2-digit user number (00-09) and confirm with [#]. Enter the user PIN code (6-12 digits) and confirm with [#]. Repeat for more users. Voice prompt: "settings succeed".
- Enroll Fingerprint (optional): Access master mode, press [1] for user setting, then press [2] to enroll fingerprint. Enter a 2-digit user number (00-99) and confirm with [#]. Place your finger on the sensor, then remove it after the voice prompt "Remove finger and scan again". Repeat multiple times until "settings succeed".
- Enroll Card (optional): Access master mode, press [1] for user setting, then press [3] to enroll card. Enter a 2-digit user number (00-99) and confirm with [#]. Place the card on the card icon area until a beep sound and "settings succeed".
- Delete User PIN Code: Access master mode, press [1] for user setting, then press [4] to delete user PIN code. Press [1] to delete a single user by entering the user number (00-09) and confirming with [#]. Press [2] to delete all users.
- Delete User Fingerprint: Access master mode, press [1] for user setting, then press [5] to delete user fingerprint. Press [1] to delete a single user by entering the user number (00-99) and confirming with [#] or placing the finger on the sensor. Press [2] to delete all users.
- Delete User Card (optional): Access master mode, press [1] for user setting, then press [6] to delete user card. Press [1] to delete a single user by entering the user number (00-99) and confirming with [#] or placing the card on the card icon area. Press [2] to delete all users.
- Opening Mode Setting: Access master mode, press [1] for user setting, then press [7] for opening mode setting. Press [1] for normal mode (single verification: PIN, fingerprint, or card). Press [2] for security mode (double verification: PIN+fingerprint, PIN+card, or fingerprint+card).
- Change Master PIN Code: Access master mode, press [1] for user setting, then press [9] to change master PIN code. Enter the new master PIN code (6-12 digits) and confirm with [#]. Repeat to confirm.
System Setting
- Volume Setting: Access master mode, press [2] for system setting, then press [3] for volume setting. Press [1] for voice mode. Press [2] for mute mode (alarms and menu operations are still audible).
- Language Setting: Access master mode, press [2] for system setting, then press [4] for language setting. Press [1] for Chinese Voice. Press [2] for English Voice.
- Bluetooth Setting: Access master mode, press [5] for bluetooth setting. Press [1] to connect bluetooth. Press [2] to disconnect bluetooth. Press [3] to disable bluetooth.
System Query
- Access master mode, press [3] for system query. Press [1] to get the serial number.
Function Extension (optional)
Access master mode, press [4] for function extension, reserved for Z-Wave and other smart home interfaces. Please contact Kaadas distributor for more details.
How to use your lock
6.1 Normal Mode
6.1.1 PIN code opening
- Touch the keypad screen by palm to lighten the keypad.
- Enter the enrolled PIN code followed by [#].
- Push or Pull handle to open the door.
Note: Random numbers can be added before the real PIN code to prevent exposure. The maximum length is 32 digits.
6.1.2 Fingerprint opening
- Place the enrolled finger properly on the fingerprint sensor area until one beep sound and "door opened".
- Push or Pull handle to open the door.
6.1.3 Card opening
- Place the enrolled card properly on the card icon area until a beep sound and "door opened".
- Push or Pull handle to open the door.
6.2 Mechanical key override
In case of forgetting PIN code, battery run out, or system error, use the mechanical key as a backup. Insert the key into the keyhole and rotate it, then push or pull the handle to open the door.
6.3 Emergency Power Supply
When the battery voltage is too low, use a 5V power bank via the Micro USB port. After unlocking, replace all batteries immediately.
6.4 Auto/Manual Mode
Locate the A/M switch under the battery cover.
- [A] Auto mode: When the door is closed, the deadbolt extends automatically to lock.
- [M] Manual mode: When the door is closed, the deadbolt does not extend. The door remains unlocked.
Note: In manual mode, after closing the door, verify user fingerprint/PIN code/card to lock from outside.
6.5 CLOSE button
The CLOSE button is used for locking operations.
6.6 Locking Operation
6.6.1 Auto locking
In auto mode, the door locks automatically 1.5 seconds after closing. Voice prompt: "door closed".
6.6.2 Manual locking
In manual mode, click the [CLOSE] button to lock from inside, or verify user fingerprint/PIN code/card to lock from outside. Voice prompt: "door closed".
6.6.3 Double locking
When the door is locked, long press the [CLOSE] button to double lock. Voice prompt: "Inside deadlock enabled".
6.7 Defense Mode
Enable: After the door is locked, press the [CLOSE] button to enable defense mode. Voice prompt: "Outside forced lock enabled". In this mode, an alarm triggers if the door is unlocked from inside.
Disable: Defense mode is disabled when the door is opened properly from outside.
6.8 Bluetooth Setting
Refer to Section 5.3 for Bluetooth settings.
6.9 Mute/Voice Switch
Voice > Mute: Long press [#] to enable mute mode. Mute mode is automatically disabled when the lock goes to sleep.
Mute > Voice: Long press [#] to enable voice mode. Voice mode is automatically disabled when the lock goes to sleep.
6.10 Restore To Factory Setting
Long press the [RES] button for 5 seconds to restore factory settings. Voice prompt: "Restored to factory settings. Change master PIN code." All user information and settings will be cleared. The master PIN code will revert to [12345678] and must be changed immediately.
6.11 Emergency Power Supply
When the battery voltage is lower than 4.8V, a "Low battery, please replace all batteries" prompt will sound. Replace all batteries immediately, and do not mix old and new batteries.
6.12 Replace Battery
Use 8 x 1.5V AA Alkaline Batteries, divided into 2 groups. One group powers the lock; two groups provide longer usage.
6.13 Extended Function (optional)
Refer to Section 5.4 for extended functions.
Additional Notes
- Security Mode: Double verification is required for opening the door (PIN Code + Fingerprint, PIN Code + Card, or Fingerprint + Card).
- Safe Handle Feature: Move the safe handle switch to display 'red' to lock the indoor handle. Move to 'green' to allow free movement.
- Incorrect attempts: If incorrect PIN code/fingerprint/card are entered 10 times consecutively, that method will be locked out for 5 minutes. Use an alternative method.
- Closing the door: Be mindful of the gap between the door frame and the Push-Pull handle to avoid pinching your hand.
