GAOMON Driver Installation

For Windows User

1. Make sure all the cables are well connected.
2. Close all art programs and anti-virus programs first. Ensure no anti-virus program is running.
3. Uninstall the previous GAOMON driver. Go to Control Panel -- Programs and Features -- uninstall current GAOMON Driver. Also, ensure no other brands' tablet drivers are installed. (VERY IMPORTANT)
4. Download and install the GAOMON driver. Visit the download link: https://www.gaomon.net/download/

The GAOMON website allows filtering by Model, Category, and System. Select your model (e.g., M1230), choose "driver", and then select the appropriate system (macOS or Win). Click "Download" for the driver file.

Installation Steps:

1. Right-click the driver setup icon (file extension '.exe') and select 'Run as administrator' from the dropdown list.
2. Do not change the installation path. The default path is Disk C:.

For Mac User

1. Make sure all the cables are well connected.
2. Download GAOMON driver here: https://www.gaomon.net/download/

Follow the on-screen instructions on the GAOMON website to download the correct driver for macOS.

Installation Steps:

1. Click the installation package. Drag the 'GaomonTablet' icon to the 'Applications' folder.
2. Hold for a moment until it is in the 'Applications' folder. Double-click 'GaomonTablet' and select 'Open' to run the driver.

If your OS version is macOS 10.14 or later (including Big Sur), you need to add the GAOMON driver to the 'whitelist' to ensure normal operation. If your OS is older than macOS 10.14, you can skip the following steps.

1. After installation, press one of the express keys on the tablet. A box titled 'Accessibility Access' will pop up. Click 'Open System Preferences' to bring up the 'Security & Privacy' box. Do not click "Deny"!
2. Set up 'Security & Privacy' to add 'TabletDriverAgent' in the whitelist. Bring up 'Security & Privacy' and drag 'TabletDriverAgent' into the whitelist of macOS.
3. Click the lock icon ? to unlock and input your password.
4. Then tick 'TabletDriverAgent'.
5. Click '+' and it will bring out another box.
6. Click the lock icon ? to lock the changes.
