Introduction

Thanks for choosing the pTron KWM-1 Wireless Mic. The pTron KWM-1 is a smart wireless microphone that provides professional-grade recording output. It is plug-and-play, requiring no app.

Note: If you are experiencing connectivity issues with your Android smartphone, go to Settings, search for "OTG", and enable OTG power supply. For further assistance, please contact the pTron support team.

Product Components

The wireless microphone system consists of three parts:

• Microphone Transmitter: 2 units
• Receiver: 1 unit

Diagram Description:

The system includes two microphone transmitters and one receiver.

Microphone (Front View): Features a windproof foam cover, the microphone element, and a microphone charging port.

Microphone (Back View): Includes a microphone clip and a switch key.

Receiver: Features a port to connect to a mobile phone (Type-C), a receiver indicator light, and the receiver's connection port.

How to Use

Step 1: Connect the Receiver

Connect the receiver to your mobile phone's port. The indicator light on the receiver will flash, indicating it is ready.

Step 2: Power On & Pair

Press the power button on the microphone transmitter. The red and green indicator lights will stay on, signifying successful pairing.

Step 3: Start Recording

The light on the receiver will remain solid. You can now use the microphone with your phone's camera to capture sound for live video and other audio recordings.

Charging and Power

Microphone Charging: Use the included Type-C cable. A full charge takes approximately 1 hour.

Receiver: The receiver does not require charging; it draws power directly from your connected device.

Troubleshooting Guide

1. Microphone not turning on:

   Ensure the microphone is charged. Use the included Type-C charging cable and charge for at least 1 hour. The charging indicator light should turn on during charging.

2. Receiver light not flashing after connection:

   Verify the receiver is properly connected to your phone. On Android phones, navigate to Settings, search for "OTG", and ensure the OTG power supply option is turned on.

3. Audio recording is distorted or unclear:

   Maintain a distance of approximately 6–12 inches between your mouth and the microphone. Avoid recording in noisy environments for optimal sound clarity.

4. Microphone and receiver not pairing:

   Power off both the microphone transmitter and the receiver, then restart them. Ensure both are fully charged and attempt pairing again in an area with minimal wireless interference.

5. Receiver gets hot when plugged in:

   Unplug the receiver and allow it to cool down. Reconnect it using a different, stable USB-C port or adapter.

6. Charging light not turning on:

   Check the charging cable connection. Try using an alternative compatible Type-C cable if necessary, and confirm the cable is securely inserted into the charging port.

7. Echo or noise during recording:

   Keep the microphone away from your phone's speaker while recording. Additionally, lower the speaker volume to prevent feedback or echo issues.
