Note: When installing the coil, minimize refrigerant tubing length. Do not install the air handler above or below the condenser in a way that violates condenser instructions. Service clearance takes precedence. Allow a minimum of 25 inches in front of the unit for service clearance. The drain pan must be at least 2 inches away from a standard gas-fired furnace heat exchanger and at least 4-6 inches away from any drum-type or oil-fired furnace heat exchanger. Closer spacing may damage the drain pan and cause a leak.
