1 Safety
1.1 General Information
Read this manual carefully. Keep it and product information for future reference. Do not connect if damaged in transit.
1.2 Intended Use
For extracting cooking vapour in private households, enclosed domestic environments, up to 2000m altitude. Do not use with an external timer.
1.3 Restriction on User Group
May be used by children aged 8+ and persons with reduced physical/sensory/mental abilities if supervised or instructed. Children must not perform cleaning/maintenance unless supervised and at least 15. Keep children under 8 away from the appliance and power cable.
1.4 Safe Use
Keep packaging material and small parts away from children.
Ensure adequate fresh air when operating in exhaust air mode simultaneously with room-air-dependent heat-producing appliances. Consult your chimney sweep for ventilation measures. Unrestricted operation in circulating-air mode.
Clean grease filters regularly. Never operate without a grease filter. Do not use naked flames near the appliance. Do not install near solid fuel appliances without a sealed cover. Always supervise hot oil/fat. Never extinguish burning oil/fat with water.

Adjust fan speed to steam production. Lower speed uses less energy. Switch off lighting when not needed. Clean/replace filters regularly. Put cooking lid on. Use additional functions only when required.
4 Operating Modes
The appliance can be used in air extraction mode or circulating-air mode.
4.1 Air Extraction Mode
Air is cleaned by grease filters and conveyed outside via a pipe system. Air must not be discharged into a flue used by other appliances. Obtain consent from heating engineer if conveying to a non-functioning flue. Use a telescopic duct for external wall conveyance.
4.2 Air Recirculation
Air is cleaned by grease and odour filters and conveyed back into the room. An odour filter is required. Accessories are available from retailers or the online shop.
5 Familiarising Yourself with Your Appliance
5.1 Control Elements
Use controls to configure functions and check operating status. Buttons are provided for fan settings 1, 2, and 3, and for switching the lighting on/off (?).
6 Before Using for the First Time
Configure settings and clean the appliance and accessories. Your appliance is set to air extraction mode by default; additional accessories are needed for circulating-air mode.
7 Basic Operation
7.1 Selecting a Fan Setting
Press buttons 1, 2, or 3 for fan settings. The highest selected setting applies if multiple buttons are pressed. The appliance does not need separate on/off switching.

Clean grease filters every two months. Soak in hot soapy water; use special grease solvent for stubborn dirt. Clean with a brush, rinse thoroughly, and allow to drain.
8.6 Cleaning Grease Filters in the Dishwasher
Place filters loosely in the dishwasher (max 70°C). Do not squeeze filters. Light discolouration may occur but does not affect performance.
8.7 Fitting the Grease Filters
Insert filters, fold upwards, and engage locks. Ensure locks engage correctly.

A one-way flap should be installed. If not included, order from a specialist retailer. Use a telescopic duct for external wall conveyance.
13.10 Installation
Checking the Wall: Ensure wall is vertical and has sufficient load-bearing capacity (appliance weight approx. 40 kg). Drill holes according to screw length.
Preparing the Wall: Check for wires/pipes. Mark centre line. Mark screw positions. Drill 8 mm holes to 80 mm depth, insert wall plugs. Screw on retaining bracket for flue duct. Screw in securing screws.
Installing the Appliance: Attach and align appliance. Mark hole for safety screw. Drill 8 mm hole for safety screw, insert plug. Remove protective film. Attach appliance. Screw in safety screw.
Piping: Smooth aluminium pipe connection area. Recommend 150 mm diameter exhaust air pipe. Secure pipe to connector, establish connection to opening, seal joints. For 120 mm pipe, use a reducing connector.
Installing the Flue Duct:
Wear protective gloves. Screw retaining bracket for flue duct to wall. Separate flue ducts, remove tape/foil. Screw upper flue cover to bracket. Protect surfaces with towels. Place lower flue duct, pull apart slightly. Screw lower flue duct to appliance from below. Align flue duct. Screw lower flue duct to bracket. Remove towels.
