2. Hardwiring
To hardwire the doorbell, connect the wires from your wall to the screws on the back of the doorbell. Ensure the red wire connects to the left screw and the other wire connects to the right screw. This connection utilizes an AC 8V~24V Bell Transformer.
Battery Power
Charging Time: 14 hours using a 1A USB charger (not included) via the doorbell's micro USB port.
Battery Life: Fully charged 18650 batteries can last approximately 3 to 4 months with normal use (around 5-minute events per day). Battery life depends on the number of events captured.
Live View: Up to 30 hours.
Event Handling: If the device captures an excessive number of events daily, the battery may need more frequent recharging. Using the Live View to look or speak also drains the battery. To manage this, adjust motion settings to a lower sensitivity.
WARNING: Ensure 18650 batteries are inserted correctly. Incorrect insertion can cause permanent damage.
The doorbell can be charged via a Micro USB Port (DC5V). The diagram shows the correct placement of rechargeable 18650 batteries and the battery door.
