Charted figures showing pressure drop through Convectors with forced hot water. Used for determining pressure head requirement. Based on 64" length units, but applicable to shorter units, as most loss is due to headers.
Table 7: Gallons Per Minute of Hot Water Required
This section contains a graph illustrating GPM vs. MBH for different temperature drops (10°F, 20°F, 30°F, 40°F). The Y-axis represents GPM, and the X-axis represents MBH. Lines show the relationship for various temperature drops.

Diagrams and Details
General Unit Dimensions and Configuration
Diagram shows a side view of the convector unit with key dimensions labeled: D (Depth), L (Liner Length), H (Height), B (Width), J (Projection). It also indicates the placement of the Damper and notes that the end-to-end length is the liner length plus 1/2 inch. A 3/4" NPT typical connection is shown. Riser centers are noted as liner length less 2 1/2". A dual inlet header is depicted. The diagram also shows a vent plug and a 3-position hanger welded to the liner.
Note: When ordering convectors with end pockets, always refer to the standard unit length. The overall physical length will increase by 4" for each end pocket. The coil length will remain the standard size. Coil fins are 2-1/2" high by width shown above and are mechanically bonded to copper tube at 6 fins per inch.
