Fuse Removal Procedure To prevent the Accessory Heater operation, until it can be repaired, the heater must be disabled by removing the appropriate 10A fuse in the Accessory Fuse Box that powers the Heater. 1.Remove the front Hood panel by twisting the two Hood locks, and then sliding the Hood forward and off the vehicle. 2. Locate the Accessory Fuse Box in the Hood Bonnet Compartment, as shown below. 3. Remove the fuse cover from the Accessory Fuse Box by depressing the two lock tabs. 1|Page CONFIDENTIAL INTERNAL USE ONLY 4. Locate the Accessory Heater harness and power lead, and then identify which fuse box connector location the power lead 2-pin connector is installed in. IMPORTANT: The 2-pin heater harness power connector may be plugged into one of five possible locations. Be sure to accurately identify the correct connector. 5. Use the diagram on the underside of the fuse cover to locate and remove the 10A fuse for the connector location that the heater's power lead is connected to. 6. Store the removed 10A fuse in the vehicle's main fuse box in the open spare fuse holder. 2|Page CONFIDENTIAL INTERNAL USE ONLY 7. Reinstall the fuse cover on the Accessory Fuse box ensuring the waterproof seal is properly in place. 8. Reinstall the front Bonnet cover and ensure the two locks are securely fastened. 9. FINAL CHECK: Ensure the correct fuse was removed by turning the Accessory Heater fan control knob ON and verify that the heater does not begin blowing air from the vents.
