Safety Warnings
⚠️ WARNING
- Before starting installation, disconnect the vehicle's negative (-) battery power cable to prevent electrical shock.
- Use only the supplied connecting cords for wiring. DO NOT remove fuses, as the protection circuit will not function in an emergency.
- The GTw 190 A, when installed in the passenger compartment, must be securely anchored.
- Before drilling mounting holes, check behind the intended location to ensure you are not drilling into gas lines, brake lines, or electrical wiring.
- Do not install the GTw 190 A in a location where it can get wet.
- Install the GTw 190 A in a well-ventilated area. Do not place anything on top of the unit that could obstruct airflow.
- While driving, maintain listening volume at a level that does not mask important outside traffic noises, such as emergency vehicles.
- High sound levels can cause permanent hearing loss.
⚠️ CAUTION
- This device is designed for 24-volt (-) negative ground systems. Verify your vehicle's system type.
- When routing cables, secure them with cable retainers or adhesive tape/shrink tubing, especially near sharp edges. Keep all wiring away from hot surfaces or heater outlets to prevent short circuits.
- Refer to your car stereo's operation manual when installing speakers in your vehicle.
- Note: If low-frequency noise is present in the head unit, it may be amplified by the GTw 190 A.

Installation and Wiring
Wiring Example 1 (Speaker Line Input System)
This diagram illustrates the speaker line input system. It shows connections from the car stereo's speaker outputs (left and right channels) to the subwoofer's speaker line input terminals. Power is supplied via a connection to the fuse box, requiring a terminal capable of providing a constant current of over 15A, with an inline fuse. A ground connection is made to a solid metal part of the vehicle chassis. A remote turn-on signal from the car stereo's head unit is also required.
Wiring Example 2 (RCA Input System)
This diagram illustrates the RCA input system. It shows connections from the car stereo's RCA pre-out jacks (typically red for right, white for left) to the subwoofer's RCA inputs. Power is supplied via a connection to the fuse box, requiring a terminal capable of providing a constant current of over 15A, with an inline fuse. A ground connection is made to a solid metal part of the vehicle chassis. The system remote control input cord (blue) connects to the car stereo's remote output to control power on/off.
Installation Illustrations
Illustrations show the compact subwoofer being mounted in a vehicle, typically under a seat or in a small space. They also depict routing of power, ground, and signal cables, emphasizing secure connections and avoiding sharp edges or heat sources.
