QUICK START GUIDE

Using the Adapter with Your Console

The Controller Adapter allows you to switch between Console mode and PC/Mac® mode. Make sure that your mode is configured before plugging your adapter into a device.

Console Mode for Nintendo Switch®

  1. Make sure the compatibility switch on your adapter is set to CONSOLE Mode.
  2. Plug in your controller for N64® into the adapter controller port.
  3. Insert the USB end of the adapter into a free port on your dock.

Note: Controller inputs and functionality may vary depending on game compatibility. The Controller Adapter is not compatible with extension port accessories.

Remapping your Button Inputs

You can enable alternate button layouts by holding either the L button, R button, L and R buttons, C-Up button, C-Down button, C-Right button, or C-Left button on your controller as you insert your adapter into a USB port on your dock. If you do not hold down any of the buttons, your button layout will be in the default layout.

PC / Mac® Mode

  1. Make sure the compatibility switch is set to PC Mode.
  2. Plug in your controller for N64® into the adapter controller port.
  3. Insert the USB end of the adapter into a free USB port on your PC or Mac®.
  4. Make sure to configure your controller inputs via the game settings. Setup and functionality may vary depending on your device.

Note: You can also enable alternate button layouts by holding either the L button, R button, L and R buttons, C-Up button, C-Down button, C-Right button, or C-Left button on your controller as you insert your adapter into a USB port on your computer. The Controller Adapter is not compatible with extension port accessories.
