Control Panel Description

The control panel features buttons for various functions and speeds. It includes Auto-iQ™ programs like "FROZEN DRINKS/SMOOTHIES", "FOOD PUREE", "NUTRI NINJA BLEND", "NUTRI NINJA ULTRA BLEND", and "PULSE". Manual speed settings are "LOW/DOUGH", "MED", and "HIGH". There is also an "ON/OFF" button and a "WATTS" display, typically showing "1500 WATTS". A digital timer displays "8:88".

Before First Use

PLEASE KEEP THESE IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS IN MIND WHEN USING THE APPLIANCE:

  1. Remove all packaging material and labels from the appliance. Separate all parts.
  2. Wash the lids, blender pitcher, food processor bowl, Nutri Ninja® cups and Blade Assemblies in warm, soapy water. When washing blade assemblies, use a dish-washing utensil with a handle for blade assemblies to avoid direct contact. Handle blade assemblies with care to avoid contact with sharp edges. Rinse and air dry thoroughly.
  3. WARNING: Handle the Stacked Blade Assembly, Chopping Blade Assembly and Nutri Ninja Blade Assembly with care when washing, as the blades are sharp.
  4. Rinse and air dry thoroughly.
  5. The blender pitcher, food processor bowl, Nutri Ninja® cups, lids, Stacked Blade Assembly, Chopping Blade Assembly and Nutri Ninja Blade Assembly are all dishwasher safe. It is recommended that the lids and Blade Assemblies be placed on the top rack. Ensure that the Blade Assemblies are removed from the containers before placing in the dishwasher.
  6. Wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth.

Assembly and Use for the Ninja® Blender

Assembly Steps

  1. Review warning and caution statements.
  2. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, level surface.
  3. Align and lower the Pitcher onto the motor base. The handle should be aligned slightly to the right of the "LOCK" symbol on the motor base. (Depiction: Blender pitcher being placed onto the motor base.)
  4. Rotate the blender pitcher clockwise until it clicks in place. Safety tabs on the bottom of the pitcher will slide under safety tabs on the top of the motor base. (Depiction: Blender pitcher rotating and locking into place.)

  6. Holding the Stacked Blade Assembly by the top of the shaft, place it onto the drive gear inside the pitcher. Ensure it is seated properly and standing upright. (Depiction: Stacked blade assembly being inserted into the pitcher.) NOTE: The Stacked Blade Assembly will fit loosely on the drive gear.
  7. Add ingredients to the pitcher, not exceeding the highest measured marking line. NOTE: To add ingredients while processing, open the pour spout cap and pour through the opening. When blending liquids, do not exceed the "MAX" liquid mark (64 ounces).
  8. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet and press the power button (⟳). NOTE: As a safety feature, the power light (⟳) will flash and the motor will not work if the pitcher and lid are not installed correctly. When installed properly, the power light (⟳) will be solid, indicating readiness.
  9. Holding the lid by the handle in the upright position, place it on top of the pitcher aligning the triangle (✔) on the lid with the triangle (△) on the pitcher's handle. Press the handle down until you hear a click. The triangles MUST be aligned for the blender to turn on. (Depiction: Lid being placed and locked onto the pitcher.)

Use and Removal

Assembly and Use for the Food Processor Bowl

Assembly Steps

  1. Review warning and caution statements.
  2. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, level surface.
  3. Align and lower the Processor Bowl onto the motor base. Handle should be aligned slightly to the right of the "LOCK" symbol. (Depiction: Food processor bowl being placed onto the motor base.)

  6. Holding the desired blade assembly by the top of the shaft, place it onto the drive gear inside the bowl. Ensure it is seated properly and standing upright. (Depiction: Blade assembly being inserted into the food processor bowl.) NOTE: The blade assembly will fit loosely on the drive gear.
  7. Add ingredients to the bowl, not exceeding the highest measured marking line.
  8. Holding the lid by the handle in the upright position, place it on top of the Processor Bowl aligning the triangle (✔) on the lid with the triangle (△) on the Processor Bowl handle. NOTE: The 64 oz. bowl is not intended for blending drinks. Do not overfill.
  9. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet and press the power button (⟳). NOTE: As a safety feature, the power button (⟳) will flash and the motor will not work if the bowl and lid are not installed correctly. When installed properly, the power button (⟳) will be solid, indicating readiness.

Using the Chopping Blade Assembly

  1. Review warning and caution statements.
  2. Holding the Chopping Blade assembly by the shaft, place it onto the gear shaft inside the bowl. Ensure it is standing straight.
  3. Add ingredients and secure the bowl lid onto the bowl. (Depiction: Food processor bowl with chopping blade and lid.)
  4. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet and press the power button (⟳). Select speed or Auto-iQ™ program. Pulse ingredients for chopping by holding the Auto-iQ™ Pulse button until desired consistency. NOTE: Refer to “Speed Settings & Uses” chart.
  5. When desired consistency is reached, stop by pressing the power button (⟳) and wait for the Chopping Blade assembly to stop turning. (Depiction: Food processor bowl with chopping blade, stopped.)
  6. To remove the lid, press the release button on the lid and pull the lid handle up to a 90° angle. (Depiction: Removing lid from food processor bowl.)

  8. To release the motor base from the counter, place hands underneath both sides and gently pull up and towards you. (Depiction: Lifting the motor base.)

Using the Dough Blade Assembly

  1. Review warning and caution statements.
  2. Holding the Dough Blade Assembly by the shaft, place it onto the gear shaft inside the bowl. Ensure it is standing straight. (Depiction: Food processor bowl with dough blade.)
  3. Add ingredients and secure the bowl lid onto the bowl.
  4. Plug the power cord into the electrical outlet and press the power button (⟳). Select LOW/DOUGH and process until ingredients form a mass. NOTE: Refer to “Speed Settings & Uses” chart.
  5. Once finished making dough, stop by pressing the power button (⟳) and wait for the Dough Blade assembly to stop turning.
  6. To remove the lid, press the release button on the lid and pull the lid handle up to a 90° angle.
  7. Turn the bowl counter-clockwise and lift it to remove it from the motor base.
  8. To release the motor base from the counter, place hands underneath both sides and gently pull up and towards you.

Assembly and Use for the Nutri Ninja® Cups

Assembly Steps

  1. Review warning and caution statements.
  2. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, level surface. Press down on the motor base to make sure suction cups adhere.
  3. Add ingredients to the Nutri Ninja® cup.
  4. Place the Pro Extractor Blades® Assembly onto the cup and tightly screw it on clockwise until a good seal. (Depiction: Nutri Ninja cup with blade assembly attached.)
  5. Turn the Nutri Ninja® cup upside down and place it onto the motor base, aligning the tabs on the cup with the motor base. Rotate the Nutri Ninja® cup clockwise until it locks in place (a click will be heard). (Depiction: Nutri Ninja cup being placed and locked onto the motor base.)
  6. Press the power button on, and select the speed or Auto-iQ™ program. The Auto-iQ™ program will stop automatically. (Depiction: Nutri Ninja cup on motor base, operating.)

Use and Removal

  1. To pause, press the selected speed or Auto-iQ™ Program a second time.
  2. Once desired consistency is reached, turn the power button off. Turn the Nutri Ninja® cup counter-clockwise and pull straight up to remove. (Depiction: Nutri Ninja cup being removed from motor base.) NOTE: Do not overfill! To avoid spilling, do not add ingredients past the “Max Liquid” line.
  3. Turn the cup upright and remove the Pro Extractor Blades® Assembly by twisting counterclockwise.
  4. Place the Sip & Seal® lid onto the Nutri Ninja® cup, twist to seal and enjoy!
  5. Make sure the motor base is unplugged when not in use.
  6. To release the motor base from the counter, place hands underneath both sides and gently pull up and towards you. (Depiction: Lifting the motor base.)

Care & Maintenance

How to Clean

  1. Separate all parts.
  2. Hand Washing: Wash lids, pitcher, bowl, Nutri Ninja™ cups and blade assemblies in warm, soapy water. Use a dish-washing utensil with a handle for blade assemblies to avoid direct contact. Handle blade assemblies with care to avoid contact with sharp edges. Rinse and air dry thoroughly.
  3. WARNING: Handle the Stacked Blade Assembly, Chopping Blade Assembly and Nutri Ninja Blade Assembly with care when washing, as the blades are sharp. Contact with the blades' edges can result in laceration.
  4. Dishwasher: The pitcher, bowl, Nutri Ninja cups, lids, Stacked Blade Assembly, Chopping Blade Assembly and Nutri Ninja Blade Assembly are all dishwasher safe. Lids and Blade Assemblies are recommended for the top rack. Ensure blade assemblies are removed from containers before placing in dishwasher.
  5. Wipe the motor base clean with a damp cloth.

How to Store

  1. Store the Nutri Ninja® | Ninja® Blender System upright with the pitcher on the motor base, Stacked Blade Assembly inside the pitcher and lid locked. Do not place anything on top. Store the Food Processor Bowl with the Chopping Blade Assembly inside and lid locked. Store the Nutri Ninja® cup with the Nutri Ninja Blade Assembly attached and all other attachments alongside the appliance or in a cabinet where they will not be damaged and won't cause a hazard.

Resetting the Motor Thermostat

The Nutri Ninja® | Ninja® Blender System with Auto-iQ™ Technology features a unique safety system which prevents damage to the unit's motor and drive system if overloaded. If the appliance is overloaded, the motor will stop. Allow the appliance to cool for approximately 15 minutes. To reset:

  1. Unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet.
  2. Remove and empty the container and ensure no food is jamming the blade assembly.
  3. Allow the appliance to cool for approximately 15 minutes.
  4. Re-install the container onto the base and re-plug the appliance into the electrical outlet.
  5. Proceed to use the appliance as before, ensuring not to exceed recommended maximum capacities.

Troubleshooting Guide

Motor Doesn't Start or Blade Assembly Doesn't Rotate.
  • Container securely placed on motor base.
  • Lid securely on container in correct position (align arrows).
  • Appliance turned “Off”. Press power button (⟳) to turn “On”.
  • Plug securely inserted into electrical outlet.
  • Check fuse or circuit breaker.
  • Unit overloaded: Appliance will stop, power light will flash. Unplug and wait ~15 minutes.
  • Unit overheated: Unplug and wait ~15 minutes.
  • Unit not overloaded.
Food is Unevenly Chopped.Chopping too much food at once, or pieces are not even size. Process smaller amounts per batch.
Food is Chopped Too Fine or is Too Watery.Food over processed. Use Auto-iQ™ Pulse button for controlled processing.
Food Collects On Lid or On the Sides of the Container.Mixture too thick. Add more liquid.
You Cannot Achieve Snow From Solid Ice.Do not use ice that has been sitting out or started to melt. Use ice straight from freezer. Start with a few pulses then go to continuous blending cycle.
Motor Base Won't Stick to Counter or Table Top.Surface and suction feet wiped clean. Suction feet only stick to smooth surfaces. Will NOT stick on wood, tile, non-polished finishes. DO NOT attempt to use appliance when motor base is stuck to a surface that is not secure (cutting board, platter, plates, etc.).
You get an "Err" MessageNinja detects which jar is on base. Program not designed for installed jar. Programs will light up indicating available programs.
You have a blinking red lightUnit not installed properly. For safety, unit only turns on when properly assembled. Refer to assembly pages for assistance.

Ninety (90) Day Refurbished Product Limited Warranty

SharkNinja Operating LLC warrants this product to be free from material defects and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase when utilized for normal household use, subject to conditions, exclusions and exceptions.

The liability of SharkNinja Operating LLC is limited solely, at its option, to either: 1) the cost of repair or replacement with a refurbished unit; or 2) an upgrade to a similar model refurbished unit of equal or greater value. Replacement units/parts will be warranted for the remaining portion of the original (90) ninety day warranty period.

This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear of parts, commercial use, damage caused by accident, misuse, abuse, negligent handling, incorrect voltage, vandalism, unsuitable environments, faulty packaging, mishandling in transit, natural disasters, or other damages beyond SharkNinja Operating LLC's control. It does not cover damage from shipping or repairs, service or alteration by unauthorized persons. Since this unit is refurbished, cosmetic damages (scratches, scuffs, dents, dings) are not covered. Operating the unit in violation of the owner's manual voids the warranty.

If the appliance fails to operate properly under normal household conditions within the Limited Warranty period, return the complete appliance and accessories with proof of purchase and date, freight prepaid. For Customer Service, call 1-877-646-5288 or visit ninjakitchen.com.

If found defective by SharkNinja Operating LLC, it will be repaired or replaced free of charge. Proof of purchase date and a check payable to SharkNinja Operating LLC for $19.95 (to cover return shipping and handling) must be included.

This Limited Warranty is extended to the original purchaser of this refurbished unit and excludes all other legal, implied, and/or conventional warranties. SharkNinja Operating LLC's responsibility is limited to the specific obligations expressly assumed by it. In no event is SharkNinja Operating LLC liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not permit exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this may not apply to you.

This Limited Warranty gives specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary by state or province.

IMPORTANT: Carefully pack item to avoid damage in shipping. Include proof of purchase date and attach tag with name, complete address, phone number, purchase information, model number, and problem description. Insure the package (damage in shipping is not covered by Limited Warranty). Mark the outside of your package "ATTENTION CUSTOMER SERVICE”.
