1. Functional Statement
CarPlay / Android Auto
The built-in vehicle machine interaction system of iPhone cooperates with the central control knob button to provide voice command and control of phone, information, navigation, and music. It allows operation of Siri voice interaction for more information and supports wireless and wired connection for CarPlay and Android Auto, including voice control for phone, information, and navigation.
Mirroring
Supports wired and wireless mirroring functions for iPhone and Android phones.
Reversing Video Input
The smart module can decode video and can be equipped with a rear-view video input. The intelligent module can decode video and install a rear view camera.
USB Video Playback
Features an automatic media playback function that allows video and audio media to be played directly from a USB drive.

2.2 Toggle Switch Setup
Set the toggle switch settings according to the size of your car's screen.
The guide shows three configurations for different screen sizes: 'for 5.8/6.5 inch screen (400x240)', 'for 7/8 inch screen (800x480)', and 'for 8.3 inch screen (1024x480)'. Each configuration displays a row of 8 toggle switches. For the 5.8/6.5 inch screen, switches 1-7 are set to ON (indicated by a checkmark ✔️) and switch 8 is OFF. For the 7/8 inch screen, switches 1-8 are set to ON (✔️). For the 8.3 inch screen, switches 1-7 are set to ON (✔️) and switch 8 is OFF.
3. Wireless CarPlay Connection Method
Follow these steps for wireless CarPlay connection:
- Open the system's wireless CarPlay connection.
- Turn on your phone's Bluetooth and WiFi, and keep them active.
- Select the Bluetooth device name as "CAR - XXXX", pair your device, and confirm the prompt to use CarPlay.
4. Wireless Android Auto Connection Method
Follow these steps for wireless Android Auto connection:
- Open the system's wireless Android Auto connection.
- Turn on your phone's Bluetooth and WiFi, and keep them active.
- Select the Bluetooth device name as "CAR - XXXX", pair your device. After successful Bluetooth pairing, follow the on-screen prompts to complete the Android Auto connection process.
5. Apple Wireless Screen Mirroring
Follow these steps for Apple wireless screen mirroring:
- In the system settings, select "AirPlay".
- Ensure WiFi is enabled and connect to the network named "CAR-WIFI-XXX" using the password 66668888.
- After the CarPlay WiFi connection is established, pull down the status bar, select "Screen Mirroring", and then tap "Airplay" to initiate mirroring.
6. Android Wireless Screen Mirroring
Follow these steps for Android wireless screen mirroring using AutoLink:
- Select the "AutoLink" icon. Use your Android phone's browser to scan the provided QR code to download and install the Auto Link app. Enable Auto Link in the system's settings page.
- Ensure WiFi is enabled and connect to the network named "CAR-WIFI-XXXX" using the password 66668888.
- Open the Autolink Pro app, search for "CAR-WIFI-XXXX", establish the connection, and then tap "START NOW".
7. Audio Settings
Call Echo Cancellation
To perform Call Echo Cancellation, navigate to Settings > Audio > AEC Delay, and then click the "Start Auto AEC" button. The system will generate a beep and require approximately 20 seconds for estimation.
If an echo occurs during a phone call, follow these steps for echo correction:
- Keep the car interior quiet.
- Set the volume to a moderate position, and then click "Start Auto AEC".
- Wait 20 seconds for the estimation to complete.
8. Reversing Settings
In the reversing settings, select the desired camera type. The default is "Original Camera". Options available for configuration include Parking Line, Radar, Reverse Camera Mirror, and Front Camera Mirror, which can be toggled ON or OFF.
9. Kit Contents
9.1 Cables and Accessories
The kit includes the main interface module, a compact electronic unit measuring approximately 145mm in length, 98mm in width, and 27mm in height. It features ports labeled CAN, POWER, USB, VIDEO, TOGGLE SWITCH, and LVDS.
The included accessories are:

9.2 Cable Connection Chart
The connection diagram illustrates how to connect the provided LVDS cable to the original display cable. It also details the connections for other cables: CAN, USB, TOGGLE, POWER, VIDEO, LVDS, Camera 12V, GND, Rear View CVBS, Front View CVBS, AUX, MIC IN, MIC-OUT, USB, and the original power cable. A note advises to unplug a specific cable if noise is detected.
After all cables are connected, press and hold the "MEDIA" and "BACK" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to switch between the original MIB/MMI 3G+ interface and the CarPlay interface.
10. Steering Wheel Button Control
Steering Wheel Controls
The steering wheel buttons are assigned the following functions:
- Button 1 (VIEW): Navigate back to the previous level.
- Button 2 (Voice Key): Activate Siri voice assistant.
- Button 3 (Volume Up): Swipe up to increase the audio volume.
- Button 4 (Volume Down): Swipe down to decrease the audio volume.
- Button 5: Play the previous audio track.
- Button 6: Play the next audio track.

Central Control Knob Controls
The central control knob offers the following functionalities:
- Long press the knob to enter the CarPlay interface.
- Short press the knob to return to the system's HOME page.
- Rotate and press the knob to control applications and access app functions.
- Before using the system, ensure the original car's AUX channel is selected.
