Balancing the Tonearm

  1. Take the counter-balance weight from the accessory box and slide it onto the tonearm.
  2. Slide the balance weight as far forward as it can go, then tighten the screw to fix it in place. The tonearm is now balanced.

Connecting the Passive Speakers

Connect the included passive speakers for audio playback.

  1. Ensure the Revolution turntable is powered off.
  2. Connect one end of the passive speaker cables (item 13) to the back of the passive speakers (item 14).
  3. Connect the other end of the cables to the black RCA speaker out ports (A) on the back of the turntable.

Playing a Record

Follow these steps to enjoy your vinyl collection:

  1. Ensure the Revolution is connected to the power adapter and a wall outlet, and the outlet is switched on.
  2. Place a vinyl record on the turntable (item 2).
  3. Make sure the stylus needle cover (item 8) is removed.
  4. Select the correct speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the RPM switch (item 12) according to the record.
  5. Power the turntable on by pressing the Power/Volume knob (F) down. The LED indicator (E) should turn red, indicating power is on.
  6. If you wish to play via Bluetooth, refer to the "Bluetooth Pairing" section and return here once connected to an output device. If playing via Line Out or Passive Speaker Out, check those sections for connection instructions before returning.
  7. Lift the tonearm (item 6) using the lift lever (item 4) and move the tonearm head to the edge of the record.
  8. Lower the tonearm by lowering the tone arm lift lever (item 4). The turntable platter will automatically start spinning as the tonearm is moved over it.
  9. When the record finishes, the turntable platter will auto-stop. Lift the tonearm and place it on the tonearm rest holder (item 5).
  10. To listen to the other side of the record, flip the record and repeat from step 6.
