Getting Started

Charging the Jump Starter

Before your first use, or after extended storage, fully charge the PJS1000. Connect the USB-C cable to the device and the AC adapter or car charger. A full charge typically takes 3-5 hours ⏱️.

Powering On and Off

Press the power button ? once to turn the device on. The display will show the current battery level ?. To turn the device off, press and hold the power button for approximately 5-20 seconds.

How to Jump Start a Vehicle

Ensure the vehicle's engine is off and the parking brake is engaged.

  1. Connect the red jumper cable clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  2. Connect the black jumper cable clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the vehicle's battery.
  3. Connect the other end of the red jumper cable to the positive (+) port on the PJS1000.
  4. Connect the other end of the black jumper cable to the negative (-) port on the PJS1000.
  5. Turn on the PJS1000. The display will indicate the connection status.
  6. Attempt to start the vehicle's engine.
  7. Once the engine starts, turn off the PJS1000 immediately.
  8. Disconnect the black clamp from the PJS1000, then the red clamp.
  9. Disconnect the black clamp from the vehicle battery, then the red clamp.

Important: Always connect clamps in the correct order to prevent damage or injury.

Charging Electronic Devices

Via USB Ports

Connect your smartphone ?, tablet ?, or other USB-powered devices to the USB ports on the PJS1000 using their standard charging cables.

Via 12V Port

Use the included car charger adapter to connect 12V accessories ? (e.g., portable tire inflators, small appliances) to the 12V output port.

Wireless Charging

Place Qi-compatible devices ? directly onto the top surface of the PJS1000 for convenient wireless charging ⚡️.

Intended Use

The Dometic PJS1000 is designed for jump-starting 12V vehicles with gasoline engines up to 6 liters or diesel engines up to 4 liters. It is also suitable for charging and powering various digital mobile devices and 12V accessories. It is intended for temporary use outdoors or in garages, with moderate precautions recommended in damp conditions.
