Mounting Aura Micro
Before mounting, clean and degrease the seat post to ensure a tight fit. When fixing the device, ensure that the silicone strap is tight enough that the rear light cannot move on its own and is not easily moved. Mounting height between 25 - 120 cm.
ATTENTION: Do not cover the rear light!
The final side of the rear light should be perpendicular to the roadway and at right angles to the vehicle center axis. Reference axis parallel to the roadway (1), Vehicle center axis (2).
WARNING! To avoid falls, accidents and serious injuries, only use the enclosed mounting bracket.
NOTE: Never mount brackets on saddle rails!
NOTE: Alternatively, the HIRO MICRO can be attached to a backpack or similar as a safety light using a clip.
Mounting Hiro Micro
ATTENTION: The headlight must be firmly attached to the bike and the light distribution must not be covered!
Mount the front light using the silicone holder (1). Align the AURA MICRO correctly in the direction of travel (2).
When attaching the AURA MICRO, make sure that it cannot move on its own or be easily adjusted.
Ensure that the AURA MICRO is properly mounted and aligned. On a completely flat road, the horizontal light edge must always be visible on the road!
The mounting height for headlights and reflectors prescribed in Germany is between 40 and 120 cm. If necessary, you can also contact a specialized bicycle dealer in your area. Make sure that the AURA MICRO is mounted and aligned in such a way that oncoming traffic is not dazzled (3).
WARNING! To avoid falls, accidents and serious injuries, only use the enclosed mounting material.
WARNING! Do not use the bike if the light beam of your AURA MICRO is misaligned or if the AURA MICRO is too loose.
Only adjust or lock the AURA MICRO when the bike is stationary. Dazzling oncoming traffic can lead to accidents.
Light Modes
The lighting modes HIGH (30 LUX) and ECO (10 LUX) can be changed manually.
- 1x short click on the on/off button switches the HIRO MICRO ON or OFF.
Battery Indicator
- If the battery capacity is less than 20 %, the red indicator LED lights up. The AURA MICRO will soon run out of power. The battery must now be charged immediately.
- If the battery capacity is less than 20 %, the blue indicator LED lights up. The HIRO MICRO will soon run out of power. The battery must now be charged immediately.
Charging Process
- Only charge the lamp at room temperature. Charging is not possible outside the charging temperature range of -5 °C to +50 °C. This protects the battery from damage and increases its service life.
- Always ensure that the red marked USB seal (1) is correctly closed after the charging process.
- It is not possible to draw power via the USB port.
Note: Charger and USB cable not included.
