3. PRACTICAL TIPS

Load Tips

WARNING: When sorting laundry, make sure:

When washing rugs, bedcovers, or other heavy clothing, we recommend avoiding the spinning cycle.

To wash wool, ensure the item is machine washable and marked with the "Pure virgin wool" symbol, and the "Does not mat" or "Machine washable" label.

Helpful Suggestions for the User

A guide for environmentally friendly and economic use of your appliance.

Maximise The Load Size

Do you need to pre-wash?

Is a hot wash required?

Pretreat stains with stain remover or soak dried stains in water before washing to reduce the necessity of a hot wash programme. Save up to 50% energy by using a 60°C wash programme.

Following is a quick guide with tips and recommendations on detergent use at various temperatures. Always read the detergent instructions for correct use and doses.

When washing heavily soiled whites, we recommend using cotton programs of 60°C or above and a normal washing powder (heavy duty) that contains bleaching agents, which provide excellent results at medium/high temperatures.

For washes between 40°C and 60°C, the type of detergent used needs to be appropriate for the fabric type and level of soiling. Normal powders are suitable for "white" or colour-fast fabrics with high soiling, while liquid detergents or "colour protecting" powders are suitable for coloured fabrics with light levels of soiling.

For washing at temperatures below 40°C, we recommend liquid detergents or detergents specifically labeled for low-temperature washing.

For washing wool or silk, use only detergents specifically formulated for these fabrics.

4. MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

To clean the washing machine exterior, use a damp cloth, avoiding abrasives, alcohol, and/or solvents. For good wash performance, regularly clean the soap drawer and pump filters. A monthly service wash using a proprietary cleaner is also recommended.

SPIN SPEED Button

Over-dosing detergent can cause excessive foaming. If detected, the appliance may exclude spinning, extend the program duration, and increase water consumption.

The machine has an electronic device to prevent the spin cycle if the load is unbalanced, reducing noise and vibration, and prolonging machine life.

KEY LOCK

Pressing TEMPERATURE SELECTION and SPIN SPEED buttons simultaneously for about 3 seconds locks the keys, preventing accidental changes during a cycle.

The key lock can be cancelled by pressing the two buttons simultaneously again or turning off the appliance.

Digital Display

The display's indicator system informs you about the machine's status.

  1. OPTIONS INDICATOR LIGHTS: Show selectable options.
  2. CYCLE DURATION: Displays the cycle duration, which varies based on selected options. During initial filling, the machine calculates the actual cycle time based on load size, content, and options. This time may recalculate during the wash.
  3. DOOR LOCKED INDICATOR LIGHT: Illuminated when the door is fully closed. Close the door BEFORE selecting START/PAUSE.

When START/PAUSE is pressed with the door closed, the indicator flashes momentarily then illuminates.

If the door is not properly closed, the light flashes for about 7 seconds, then the start command is cancelled. Close the door properly and press START/PAUSE.

A safety device prevents the door from being opened immediately after the cycle ends. Wait 2 minutes after the wash cycle has finished and the DOOR LOCKED light has gone out before opening. At the end of the cycle, turn the programme selector to OFF.

    OTHER ANOMALIES

    ProblemPossible Causes and Practical Solutions
The washing machine does not work / start
    • Make sure the product is plugged into a working socket and power is on.
    • Test the wall socket with another appliance.
    • The door may not be correctly closed; open and close it again.
    • Check if the required program was correctly selected and the start button pressed.
    • Ensure the machine is not in pause or time delay mode.
Water leaked on the floor near the washing machineThis may be due to a leak from the seal between the tap, supply hose, and fill valve. Replace it and tighten hose connections correctly. Make sure the front filter is correctly closed.
The washing machine does not spinThe machine has a detection system for unbalanced loads. This may result in:
    • The machine attempting to balance the load, increasing spin time.
    • Reduced spin speed to decrease vibrations and noise.
    • Spin cycle aborting to protect the machine and load.
If this occurs, remove the load, detangle it, reload, and restart the spin program. This could also be due to incomplete draining; wait a few minutes. If the problem persists, see Error 3 section. Some models have a "no spin" function; ensure it is not selected. Check selected options and their effect on spin. Excessive detergent can impede spin; ensure the correct amount is used.
Strong vibrations / noises during spin cycle
    • The washing machine may not be fully leveled; adjust feet as indicated.
    • Ensure transport screws, rubber bungs, and spacer tubes were removed.
    • Check for foreign objects inside the drum (coins, hinges, buttons, etc.).

The standard manufacturer warranty covers faults caused by electrical or mechanical issues due to the manufacturer. Faults caused by factors outside the product, misuse, or failure to follow instructions may incur charges.

    Detergent Effects

The use of ecological detergents without phosphates may cause:

    • Cloudier rinse drain water: Due to suspended zeolites, which do not negatively affect rinse efficiency.
    • White powder (zeolites) on laundry: This is normal; the powder is not absorbed and does not change color. Select a rinse program to remove zeolites. Consider using slightly less detergent in the future.
    • Foam in water at last rinse: Does not necessarily indicate poor rinsing. Consider using less detergent.
    • Abundant foam: Often due to anionic surfactants hard to eliminate from laundry. Do not re-rinse; instead, conduct a maintenance wash with a proprietary cleaner.

If problems persist or a malfunction is suspected, contact an Authorised Customer Service Centre.

It is always recommended to use original spare parts available from Authorised Customer Service Centres.

    Warranty

The product is guaranteed under terms and conditions stated on the certificate included with the product. The warranty certificate must be filled in and stored for presentation to the Authorised Customer Service Centre. Proof of purchase must be available for any warranty-related repair.

The manufacturer declines responsibility for printing errors and reserves the right to make changes to products without altering essential characteristics.
