D-Link Technical Support Setup Procedure
How to upgrade firmware manually on my DWR-900V 5G Mobile Hotspot?
- Visit the D-Link support page and select your country at https://support.dlink.com/globaldirectory.aspx. Look for the latest firmware version of your specific device model and download the file on your computer.
- Connect your PC to the DWR-900V Mobile Hotspot either via Wi-Fi or using a Type C cable.
To avoid disruption during the firmware upgrade, it is advised that you use a wired connection.
- Once connected to your DWR-900V mobile hotspot, open a web browser. (Such as Google Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)
- In the address bar of the web browser, type the default IP address of the DWR-900V which is 192.168.1.1, and then press Enter.
- You will be prompted to enter the username and password to access the router's settings. The default username and password are both "admin" unless you have changed them previously.
If you have changed the password and cannot remember it, you will need to reset the router to factory defaults.
