LA CROSSE® TECHNOLOGY
PROJECTION ALARM CLOCK
with 2 AMP USB Charging and FM Radio
Power Up
1. Insert the 5.0 volt power adapter into an outlet, then into your clock. Optional: Insert a CR2032 battery (not included) for backup.
2. Enter the Settings Menu to set Time.
The back of the clock shows the power adapter input, CR2032 battery compartment, and USB charging port. An illustration indicates the 5.0 V adapter and optional CR2032 battery placement.
Settings Menu
1. Hold the SET MEM button to enter the Settings Menu.
2. Press the PROJECT or LIGHT ON-OFF button to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly.
3. Press the SET MEM button to confirm and move to the next item.
Settings Menu Order:
- Hour
- Minutes
- Snooze Duration (NO5) 5-60 minutes
Note: When setting the Hour, the “P” will show to indicate PM hours.
FM Radio
1. Extend the antenna for best reception.
2. Press the RADIO SLEEP button to listen to the radio. “ON” will show briefly, followed by the frequency in MHz.
3. Press the PROJECT or LIGHT ON-OFF button to select station. Hold to search for next clear station.
4. Press VOL SET to view Volume Setting. Use the PROJECT or LIGHT ON-OFF button to adjust Volume (1-16).
5. Press RADIO SLEEP to turn radio off.
Auto Scan and Store Preset Stations:
1. Press the RADIO SLEEP button to listen to the radio.
2. Hold the Zz AUTO SCAN symbol to automatically scan and set up to 20 stations.
Manually Store Preset Stations:
1. Press the RADIO SLEEP button to listen to the radio. “ON” will show briefly.
2. Press the PROJECT or LIGHT ON-OFF button to select station.
3. Hold SET MEM until P01 flashes to store as Preset 1.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 to set up to 20 Preset Stations.
Note: You can change preset stations with the above instructions.
Listen to Preset Stations:
1. Press the RADIO SLEEP button to listen to the radio.
2. Press SET MEM then PROJECT or LIGHT ON-OFF to select Preset Stations.
Radio Sleep Timer:
1. When the radio is on, hold RADIO SLEEP; the sleep time “05” (5 minutes) will show.
2. Press RADIO SLEEP repeatedly to select minutes from 05, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90 or OFF.
3. The clock radio reverts to the time display automatically in a few seconds. Hold RADIO SLEEP to see the sleep time remaining.
4. Press RADIO SLEEP to deactivate the radio and the sleep function before the sleep time has elapsed.
Time Alarm
This Projection Clock has a dual time alarm function. Use the following instructions to set your alarm times, choose your wake up sound (buzzer or radio), and alarm volume if you choose the radio option.
Set Alarms:
1. Hold the SET ON-OFF button to enter the Alarm Settings.
2. Press the PROJECT or LIGHT ON-OFF button to adjust the values. Hold to adjust quickly.
3. Press and release the SET ON-OFF button to confirm and move to the next item.
4. Press the SET MEM button anytime to save and exit.
Alarm Settings Order:
- Alarm 1 Hour
- Alarm 1 Minutes
- Alarm 1 Wake sound: bu (buzzer) or rd (Radio)
- When rd (Radio) is selected: Alarm 1 HI/LO (volume)
- Alarm 2 Hour
- Alarm 2 Minutes
- Alarm 2 Wake sound: bu (buzzer) or rd (Radio)
- When rd (Radio) is selected: Alarm 2 HI/LO (volume)
Activate/Deactivate Alarm 1 & 2:
1. Press the SET ON-OFF button to activate or deactivate Alarm 1 and/or Alarm 2.
2. The Amber LED Light next to the ? or ⏰ symbol indicates that alarm is active.
Turn Off Sounding Alarm:
When alarm sounds, press the SET ON-OFF button once to stop the alarm for 24 hours.
Snooze:
When an alarm is sounding, press the Zz AUTO SCAN symbol once, the alarm will be silenced and come on again after the custom snooze duration selected.
Note: If your second alarm activates while the first alarm is sounding, or it is in the snooze mode, the second alarm overrides the first alarm (the first alarm is reset to come on the next day).
Projection
Projection ON/OFF:
The Projection will be On when Projection Alarm Clock is powered on.
1. Press the PROJECT button to turn Projection Off, Dim or On again.
Projection Image Rotation:
1. Hold the PROJECT button to turn Projection 180 degrees.
2. Turn the Projection Wheel on the back of the Projection Arm to adjust the projected image 90 degrees.
An illustration shows the clock display with time and projection indicator. A separate callout points to the "Projection Wheel" on the back of the device, used for adjusting the projected image.
Note: The Projection Wheel will rotate to allow you to correctly project the time onto your wall or ceiling.
USB Charging
- Make sure the original adaptor (5V-2A) enclosed with your clock radio is being used to power your clock radio.
- Connect your external device's USB charging cable (not included) to the USB Charging Port.
- Charging times will vary.
- USB Power Output: 2A maximum current.
- Charge 2A devices or devices that are self-regulating.
Note: This clock was designed to charge tablets or other devices requiring more than a 2A current.
Adjustable Backlight
Select High or Low:
Press the Zz AUTO SCAN button to select High or Low backlight. Backlight will dim but does not turn off.
Adjust Low Brightness:
Rotate the Dimmer Wheel on the side of your clock to adjust the brightness of the Low setting. The High setting is not adjustable.

Mood Light
The Mood Light glows below the clock, offering a gentle amber glow.
Press the LIGHT ON-OFF button to turn this light on or off.

Care + Maintenance
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix Alkaline, Lithium, standard, or rechargeable batteries.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for intended use.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries have been installed with correct polarity (+/-).
- Remove batteries from equipment that will not be used for an extended period.
- Promptly remove expired batteries.
