The Lightolier Calculite 2" family provides a comprehensive recessed lighting solution, featuring downlight, accent adjustable, and lensed wall wash options. It is designed to accommodate diverse recessed application needs, offering a 50° light cut-off and multiple adjustable beam angles within a miniature aperture for high-quality illumination.

Frame-in-Kits (Optional)
Light engines are designed for retrofit installation without a separate frame. Die-formed steel construction with a 1/2" collar for ease of cutting the ceiling hole. Optional new construction frames support rough-in wiring. Rough-in wiring is done on the light engine driver pod.

Optical Systems
TIR optics precisely control the beam pattern and are field changeable. PET film provides a clean beam with mitigated spill and precise color mixing. The upper optic optimizes light distribution on the wall. COB (chip on board) technology ensures long useful life and precise color control. Trims are durable die-cast aluminum with precision painted finish, field repaintable to match aesthetic appeal. Features a 50° cutoff angle.
Dimming
UPZ option offers universal 0-10V (1%), electronic low voltage (3%), and triac (3%) dimming in a single driver. LU option provides Lutron PEQ (L) dimming to 0.1%.
MesoOptics Optical Diffusion Film
Utilizes PET film with surface-relieved, microscopic light diffusing structures for a clean beam, mitigated spill, and optimized efficacy. It homogenizes light engine luminance for smooth gradients of white light, creating a uniformly lit optical aperture.
Light Engine
Features die-cast heat sinks for optimized passive thermal management. Precision-spun lower collar attaches tool-free via springs. Integral leaf springs facilitate easy installation. For flangeless applications, a mesh mud-in ring is integral to the lower collar. Predicted 70% lumen maintenance to >70,000 hours. Operates within a 32°-86°F (0°-30°C) ambient range.
Finishes
Available finishes include Clear diffuse (CD), Aluminum diffuse (D), Black Textured (BT), Bronze (BZ), and White Textured (WT). These finishes are shown as round reflectors but represent the finish of Calculite square reflectors. Mud-in rings (WH) are also available.
Frames
Standard C2R/C2S light engines can be installed non-IC as a remodeler without an additional frame-in kit. Optional frames are available for new construction to facilitate ceiling construction. These include AirSeal, IC, and Chicago plenum frames, as well as Non-IC frames. Dimensions for these frames and driver pods are provided.

Interact (SWZCS)
Connected sensor with integral occupancy and daylight sensing, supporting wireless mesh connectivity. Works in standalone or cloud-connected modes.
Radio Only Sensor (RA or RADIO)
Enables wireless mesh connectivity without occupancy or daylight sensing, ideal for applications where sensing is managed by other devices.
Sensor Bundle (IAOSB or SB)
A wireless IoT solution for large enterprises requiring multiple gateways. Supports advanced IoT capabilities like people estimation analysis, desk level temperature/humidity sensing, and noise classification. Requires compatible gateway and internet connectivity.
SWCS Accessory
