Installation Steps
Tools and Accessories Needed (Not Included)
- (2) 8-32 Hexagonal Keps Nut
Step 1: Prepare the J-BOX DOOR
Take the BSL06M5 component and place it into the J-BOX DOOR EM. Align the holes with the ports to make the necessary connections, as depicted in Figure 1. Secure the BSL06M5 to the J-BOX DOOR EM by fastening the 8-32 Hexagonal Keps Nut, as shown in Figure 2.

Step 2: Access the J-BOX
Locate the J-BOX DOOR. Lift the lance and pull the door open, as illustrated in Figure 3.

Step 3: Wiring Connections
Connect the power leads: Wire the neutral supply lead to the white wire, the hot supply lead to the black and/or white & red wires (depending on whether the application uses a switch), and the bare copper and/or green wire to the supply ground. Use wire nuts (local hardware item). Place all electrical connections within the j-box. For luminaires with 0-10V dimming or digital dimming, connect the violet and gray leads to the appropriate control wires. The additional orange wire is for future expansion and should remain capped off, as shown in Figure 4.
