Instructions for Use
First Use Preparation
- Before first use, fill the kettle with clean and cold water to its maximum capacity and boil. Discard the water and repeat this process.
- The kettle should always be unplugged when filling or adding water.
- Fill the kettle with water to the desired level. Do not overfill, as there is a risk of spillage or spitting. The water level indicator will assist you. You can fill via the spout or by opening the lid. Do not forget to close the lid after filling, otherwise the kettle will not automatically switch off once the water has started boiling.
- Do not fill with less than 0.5 liters of water (to “min” indication) to prevent the kettle from running dry while operating.
- Do not fill with more than 1.7 liters of water (to “max” indication).
- An automatic safety cut-out is fitted for protection against overheating. It will operate if the kettle is switched on while containing insufficient water. Always ensure the water inside the kettle covers the minimum mark. If the automatic safety cut-out operates, switch the kettle off, disconnect from the power supply, and allow the kettle to cool down for 5 to 10 minutes. Then refill with cold water and switch on; the kettle will operate as normal.
- Once the water has started boiling, the kettle switches off automatically.
- This appliance is intended for household purposes only.
Basic Operation
- Place the base unit on a dry, smooth, and horizontal surface, and insert the plug into the socket. Once the kettle is attached to the base, power is supplied automatically.
- Press the ▶️ button shortly; a “Di…” sound will be heard, and the unit will start operating.
- Once the water has boiled, the indicator will turn off, and the buzzer will send out a group of “di-di-di” sounds.
Advanced Operation
- Press ▶️ for 3 seconds: The buzzer will start to send out a “di” sound. The heat insulation function will commence. The LED light will be shining in red color. After the water has boiled, the kettle will maintain the water temperature for 2 hours with the indicator light shining.
