How To Use The Borescope
Connect The Probe To The Cable
- A: Align the groove on the probe connector with the red dot on the cable connector and insert.
- B: Rotate the collar to tighten and secure the connection.
Adjust Side-View Focus
The borescope probe features a threaded, adjustable-focus design. After installing the side-view mirror, adjust the distance between the mirror and the camera. Fix the mirror in place using the lock ring to achieve a sharper focus.
Example Adjustments:
- For a .22 caliber barrel (e.g., 5.56mm), you may need to screw the mirror out to a position farther from the camera (approximately 7.2mm distance from camera lens to mirror tip) and secure it with the lock ring. The mirror itself might be around 2.78mm in width.
- For a .30 caliber barrel (e.g., 7.62mm), you may need to screw the mirror into a position closer to the camera (approximately 3.8mm distance from camera lens to mirror tip). The mirror itself might be around 6.2mm in width.
Tips for Clear Images
Dirty lenses and mirrors are a common cause of poor image quality. Please use the included cleaning cloth to clean the camera lens and the side-view mirror regularly to ensure a sharper image.
