Hello!
Thank you for choosing the Mcombo Oversized Kids Recliner! This chair is a perfect way to give kids a place of their own where independence can develop.
Now Let's do some preparations!
Don't worry, assembling your new chair is simple, and we're here to help. Here are a few tips before you begin:
- Read through all the instructions first.
- Please do not throw away the box until you are satisfied with the product.
- Clear a flat, covered space (carpeted is best) to lay out all the materials so everything is close at hand.
- DO NOT use the chair if any parts are missing, damaged or broken. Contact Mcombo Family for replacement parts and instructional literature if needed.
- The instructions include lots of helpful pictures—we show you, step-by-step, exactly how to align pieces and parts for speedy and accurate assembly.
Parts - Sort Your Parts
Identify and sort all the components before starting assembly. Some small parts may have extra pieces.
[Main chair body]
[Backrest piece]
[Two round feet]
[Two plastic washers]
[Two felt pads]
[Two anti-roll feet]
[Two screws]
[One L-shaped wrench]
[One steel washer]
Tip: Normally the parts box is placed under the seat frame.
Now It's time to put it together!
Step 1: Assemble four feet
- Turn the chair bottom (Part A) so it faces you.
- Screw the foot (Part C) with a plastic washer (Part D) into the hole in the front of the seat, then attach the felt pads (Part E) to the foot.
- Screw the anti-backward feet (Part F) into the hole in the back of the seat using the L-shaped wrench (Part H).
Diagram Description: Shows the chair base (A) with arrows indicating where to attach the feet (C, F) using washers (D), felt pads (E), and the wrench (H). Screws (G) are also shown.
Step 2: Assemble backrest
- Align the sleeves of the backrest (Part B) with the clips on the seat.
- Push firmly the sleeves onto the clips of the seat until they lock into position.
- Attach the chair-back to the velcro on the bottom of the chair base (Part A).
Diagram Description: Shows the backrest (B) being aligned and pushed onto the chair base (A). A close-up shows the sleeve mechanism. Another diagram shows velcro attachment at the bottom.
How to remove the backrest?
- Open the flap on the backrest and use a screwdriver (do not use your fingers pressing the flap).
- Push outward on the metal ear on the pre-attached metal bracket on one side of the chair base.
- Once the mechanism is unlocked, safely remove the backrest by pulling it in a straight upward direction.
Diagram Description: Illustrates using a screwdriver to release a latch on the backrest mechanism, allowing it to be pulled off the chair base.
You did it!
Now the real fun begins—it is time to sit back and relax in this kid-sized, classically styled, sturdy chair!
To get into the recline position:
- Sit into the seat.
- Recline by leaning back and pushing on the armrests while seated.
Tip: The chair reclines up to 130°, it does not recline all the way to a flat position.
Diagram Description: Shows the recliner in a reclined position, with curved arrows indicating the leaning-back motion.
To move the chair back into the upright position:
- Tilt your body weight slightly forward and upwards.
- The backrest will come up to an upright position.
- Use your feet to push the footrest down.
- The chair will lock when it is in the fully upright position.
Diagram Description: Shows the recliner transitioning from a reclined position to an upright position, with arrows indicating forward body movement and footrest lowering.
A Kids Place
- A special piece of furniture for a child can make them feel important and appreciated, especially when they have their own recliner in the living room.
- It's not just a relaxing place for kids after a long day at school or after extensive outdoor activities, but also an exclusive space where kids take their first real steps toward independence.
- Growing up is a funny thing; we believe this recliner will be a good friend accompanying your kids.
Visual Description: This section displays images of the recliner in four different colors: purple, brown, grey, and black. Each recliner is shown with a teddy bear sitting in it, illustrating the product in use.
