Product Instruction

The LifeSmart MINS Curtain Motor Controller is designed to upgrade traditional curtain motors into smart curtain motors. It is compact, easy to install, and does not require wall wiring. Powered by batteries, it operates independently, making it suitable for various curtain motor specifications.

This controller supports two-way communication and smartphone control. Users can manage their curtains remotely via a mobile phone, set timing tasks, and integrate them into smart home scenes, such as automatically opening curtains upon arrival home or closing them when leaving, in conjunction with other smart devices like Motion Sensors or Door/Window Sensors.

Interface Cable

This cable is suitable for Dooya electric curtain motors. For other specifications or brands, please refer to their user guide to purchase the corresponding cable. When pairing is completed, select the working mode according to the interface definition of your curtain motor in the App. If the second line is 'RESERVED', select the two-line mode; if it is 'PAUSE', select the three-line mode.

Installation Instructions

The LifeSmart MINS Curtain Motor Controller must be paired with a Smart Station to operate within the smart home system.

1. Open the battery back panel of the MINS Curtain Motor Controller and insert the batteries.
2. After configuring the Smart Station, open the LifeSmart App, navigate to the home page, click the "+" icon, then select "Add New Device". Choose "MINS Curtain Motor Controller" to enter the pairing mode.
3. Press and hold the pairing button for more than 5 seconds until the indicator light flashes. Enter the pairing state, then click "Start Pairing" in the App.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions in the App to complete the pairing operation.
5. If pairing is not successful, repeat steps 2-4 until the pairing is successful.
6. Install the battery back panel. Connect the MINS Curtain Motor Controller to the curtain motor through the RJ11 output interface (ensure cables are in the correct order). Operate the motor using the product buttons and the App to test its functionality.
7. (Optional) If a physical switch is present, connect the RJ11 input interface to the physical switch.
8. The MINS Curtain Motor Controller supports setting timer tasks, triggering smart scenes, and more. Explore these advanced features within the LifeSmart App.
