Using the Arctic Air® Outdoor Pro

Note: We strongly recommend using the unit outdoors. If using indoors, place it in a location you plan to use prior to filling. To move the unit easily, raise the retractable handle and use the wheels to roll it to your preferred location. The digital display will show the current room temperature.

  1. Outdoor Hose Attachment: If using the continuous hose attachment outdoors, remove the cover from the attachment and screw the hose in until secured. [See Figure 1]
  2. Indoor/No Hose Setup: For indoor use or when not using the hose attachment, remove the rear grill by turning the Rear Grill Locks counterclockwise. Fill the water tank using a pitcher or hose until the MAX level is reached. Replace the rear grill and tighten the Rear Grill Locks by turning clockwise. [See Figure 2]
  3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
  4. Turning On and Fan Speed: Turn the unit on by pressing the Power/Fan button and select your desired fan speed. [See Figure 3]
  5. Cooling Feature: To use the cooling feature, turn on your outdoor faucet (if using the continuous attachment method) and press the Cooling button. Water will begin to be pumped through the unit to cool the air. [See Figure 4]
  6. Setting the Timer: To set the auto-off timer, press the Timer button until the desired hours (up to 12 hours) are shown on the display. [See Figure 5]
  7. Oscillation Feature: To activate the oscillation feature for left-to-right coverage, press the oscillation button. To cancel, press the button again. [See Figure 6]
  8. Adjusting the Grill: To adjust the grill up and down, raise or lower the fins on the front grill until the air reaches your desired direction. [See Figure 7]
  9. Shutdown and Storage: When finished using the unit, turn it off, unplug it, and store it away until next use. If possible, run the unit without the cooling mode for at least 30 minutes to allow the cooling cartridge and the inside of the unit to dry. Wipe down if needed until dry.

Note: If not using the unit for a long period, drain water via the water drain plug. Then, allow the fan to run WITHOUT cooling mode on so the cooling cartridge and inside of the unit dries out. Wipe down if needed until dry.
