Connection Instructions
VDSL Interface
Use the supplied DSL cable for the IP-based line to connect the VDSL interface to the provider’s telephone socket. Consult your Internet service provider for more details.
Ethernet Interfaces
Use the cable with kiwi-colored connectors to connect one of the ETH 1 to ETH 4 interfaces to your PC or a LAN switch.
Analog Interfaces
Connect analog terminal devices directly via RJ11 or use the enclosed TAE adapters and RJ11 twin adapters. The RJ11 twin adapters are wired as follows (looking into ports with contacts at the bottom): Router port 1/3 connects to port 1 left, port 3 right; Router port 2/4 connects to port 2 left, port 4 right.
Configuration Interface
Use a serial configuration cable to connect the COM interface to the serial interface of the device used for configuration/monitoring (cable sold separately).
ISDN Interfaces
ISDN 1: Internal (NT) or external (TE) ISDN bus, controlled by LCOS. Connect the light-blue ISDN cable to the NTBA or ISDN terminal device as per settings.
ISDN 2: Internal (NT) ISDN bus. Connect the light-blue ISDN cable to the ISDN interface. A 100-Ohm resistor for line termination is switchable in LCOS.
USB Interface
Connect a USB printer or a USB memory stick to the USB interface.
Power Connection
Connect the power cable to the device. Turn the bayonet connector 90° clockwise until it clicks into place. Use only the supplied power adapter.
