Introduction
The intelligent Zigbee water valve is powered by four AA batteries, making it easy and quick to install. You can remotely control and set scheduled watering, quantitative watering, intelligent scenes, etc., through the eWeLink APP, turning your traditional irrigation system into a smart one. It supports water consumption statistics for irrigation, and you can view 6-month historical records at any time, helping you manage water resources better and save on water bills.

Product Overview
The SONOFF Zigbee Smart Water Valve (SWV) is a battery-powered device designed for intelligent control of water flow. It connects to your home network via a Zigbee bridge and can be managed remotely through the eWeLink application.

Button and LED Indicator Functions
- Single press: Turn the smart device on/off.
- Press and hold for 5 seconds: The device enters pairing mode.

Getting Started
Powering On the Device
Follow these steps to power on your Zigbee Water Valve:
- Hold both ends of the battery compartment cover and pull out the battery slot.
- Insert four AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.
- Firmly push the battery slot back into the device until the latch is visible.
Upon powering on, the LED button will light up and flash.
Adding the Device to the App
You will need the eWeLink app and a compatible Zigbee bridge.
- Open the eWeLink app and navigate to the device list. Tap the '+' icon.
- Select 'Scan' or 'Add Device'.
- Scan the QR code located on the device.
- Press and hold the button on the device for 5 seconds until the LED indicator flashes slowly.
- The app will search for the device. Once found, select 'Add Device'.
- Wait for the pairing process to complete. The LED indicator will flash slowly for up to 180 seconds.
- Select your Zigbee bridge from the list of available bridges.
- Wait for the pairing to finish.
Note: Download the 'eWeLink' app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.

The SONOFF Smart Zigbee Water Valve requires a Zigbee bridge to function. Ensure your bridge is running the latest firmware.

Installation
Diagram: The valve connects between a water faucet (Inlet) and an irrigation hose (Outlet).
Follow these steps for installation:
- Wrap threaded sealing tape around the faucet thread.
- Screw the water inlet nut of the valve onto the faucet.
- Test for leaks.
- If no leaks are detected, connect the irrigation hose to the water outlet of the valve. If the outlet leaks, wrap the thread with sealing tape.
Recommendation: Vertical installation is recommended, as horizontal installation may increase flow measurement errors.

Battery Warnings
WARNING: REPLACING THE BATTERY WITH AN INCORRECT TYPE MAY RESULT IN AN EXPLOSION. DISPOSE OF USED BATTERIES ACCORDING TO THE INSTRUCTIONS.
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Do not mix new and old batteries.
- Do not mix batteries of different types/manufacturers.
- Do not insert batteries with reversed polarity.
- A leaking battery or one that has previously leaked is not suitable for use and should be discarded.
- When handling leaking batteries, wear gloves and place them in a plastic bag before disposal in an electronics recycling bin.
- If a leaking battery has contaminated the circuit board, the device may be damaged and cease to function. Take the device to a collection point and return the battery to a Bebat collection point.
