Manual Override

The switch module terminal reserves the access of manual override function for the end-user to switch on/off.

• Switch on/off for permanent on/off function.

Notes:

1. Both the adjustment on App and switch can overwrite each other; the last adjustment remains in memory.
2. The App control is synchronized with the manual switch.

Installation

Warnings:

1. Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations.
2. Keep the device out of reach of children.
3. Keep the device away from water, damp or hot environments.
4. Install the device away from strong signal sources such as microwave ovens that may cause signal interruption resulting in abnormal operation of the device.
5. Obstruction by concrete walls or metallic materials may reduce the effective operation range of the device and should be avoided.
6. Do NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.

Diagram Description

The module is a compact, square-shaped device with dimensions of 46x46x18mm. It features a 'Reset Key' button and an 'Indicator Light'. Instructions

1. Turn off the power supply before carrying out any electrical installation work.

APP USER MANUAL

For iOS and Android devices, download the 'Tuya Smart' App by scanning the QR code (QR code excluded) or searching for 'Tuya Smart' in the App Store or Google Play.

Setup Steps

1. Register: Log in or register your account using your mobile number or e-mail address. Enter the verification code sent to your mobile or mail, then set your login password. Click 'Create Family' to enter the APP.
2. Pairing Mode: After wiring the switch module, press the traditional switch to turn ON/OFF cycle 5 times (maintain a short time interval) or press the reset key for about 10s until the indicator light on the module flashes quickly for pairing mode. If the indicator light flashes slowly, repeat the procedure.
3. Add Device: Open the APP, select '+' on the top right to add a device. Choose the type of device, for example 'Smart Lighting', and select the correct device type.
4. Confirm Pairing: Make sure your smartphone and Wi-Fi switch module are under the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Confirm when the indicator light flashes quickly for pairing mode.
5. Connecting: Ensure your router, mobile, and device are as close as possible. The device will be found and registered to the smart cloud, initializing the device. This process may take about 10-120 seconds to complete, depending on your network condition.
6. Pairing Complete: When pairing is done, the Wi-Fi switch will be shown on the App. Click 'Completed'.
7. Device Management: Access 'More' settings for basic information about the device. Options include setting the 'Device name', 'Device Location', managing 'Shared devices', 'Create Group', viewing 'Device information', providing 'Feedback', and connecting to 'Supported Third-party Control' like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

You can connect the module to the new Wi-Fi network according to the App User Manual.
