One For All URC7115 Simple Set Up Guide
How to Set Up Your Remote
A - SIMPLESET
SimpleSet is a quick and easy way to set up the remote for the most popular brands of each device type. It typically takes less than a minute per device.
For each device type, there is a list of top brands, each with an assigned number. For example, 6 is for Samsung TV. Locate your device and brand in the list below:
TV Brands:
- 1 Bush
- 2 Grundig
- 3 LG
- 4 Panasonic
- 5 Philips
- 6 Samsung
- 7 Sharp
- 8 Sony

To set up your device:
- Turn on your device (not on standby) and point the OFA remote towards it.
- Hold down MAGIC until the LED blinks twice.
- Hold down the digit for your brand and device (e.g., 6 for Samsung TV).
- The remote will send the Power signal every 3 seconds until your device switches off.
- As soon as your device switches off, release the digit.
- The LED will blink twice and go out. The remote should now operate your device.
If one or more keys do not work as expected, start again at step 1. The remote will try the next code in its memory.

B - SET UP BY CODE
If your brand is not listed in section A, you can set up your device by trying codes individually.
- Turn your device on (not on standby).
- Locate your device's brand in the code list (pages 74-77). Codes are listed by Device Type.
- Hold down MAGIC until the LED blinks twice.
- Enter the first 4-digit code listed for your brand (e.g., 4542 for an Aiwa TV).
- The LED will blink twice and go out.
- Aim the remote towards your device and press the POWER key.
- If the device turns off, your remote is ready to use. If not, repeat steps 3-6 with the next code in the list.
Some codes are similar. If keys do not operate as expected, try again from step 3 with the next code in the list.
LEARNING
Your One For All remote control can learn any function from any other working remote control. This is useful if you are missing functions from your original remote or cannot find a code.
Ensure you have all original remote controls with working batteries. Place the original remote approximately 3cm from the OFA remote, pointing towards it.
- Hold down MAGIC until the LED blinks twice.
- Press 975; the LED will blink twice.
- Press and release the key you want to learn a function onto (e.g., the HOME key). The red LED will blink continuously.
- Press and release the corresponding key on the original remote.
- The LED will blink twice to indicate the key has been learned correctly.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each key you want to learn. You can learn from multiple remotes, but only one function per key.
- When all functions are learned, press and hold the MAGIC key until the LED blinks twice and turns off.
Hints:
- If the LED shows one long blink at step 5, the function was not learned correctly. Try again from step 3.
- If keys do not work properly after setup, you can re-enter learning mode by repeating the procedure from step 1.
To delete a learned function:
- Hold down MAGIC until the LED blinks twice.
- Press 976; the LED will blink twice.
- Press the key to delete twice; the LED will blink twice.
Repeat for each key you want to delete.
THE NETTV FEATURE
The Evolve features a "NETTV" key for viewing digital TV streamed over the internet. If your original remote had a similar key (e.g., Netflix), this key will perform the same function. If not, you can program this key as a shortcut for a streaming service.
Most internet-connected AV devices, like Smart TVs or streaming Set Top Boxes, have applications for internet TV viewing (e.g., Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer).
To program a macro:
- Sit in front of your device with it switched on (not on standby).
- Hold down the NETTV key until the LED blinks twice and stays lit.
- Perform the sequence of keys normally required to launch your preferred streaming service. The remote records the macro in real-time.
- Once the streaming service has started, hold down the NETTV key until the LED blinks twice and goes out. The macro is now stored.
Tips:
- Ensure the Evolve remote is operating the device before programming.
- If the macro doesn't work as expected, repeat the sequence to reprogram.
- Wait for your device to respond before pressing the next key during programming. The remote remembers the timing.
