Overview

The ATEN CL5708M is an 8-port KVM switch featuring a 43cm LCD screen and USB/PS/2 and VGA connectivity. It enables users to control multiple computers from a single PS/2 or USB console (keyboard, mouse, and monitor). A single CL5708 can manage up to 8 computers. Additionally, up to 31 more KVM switches can be daisy-chained with the CL5708, allowing for the management of up to 256 computers from a single console.

The CL5708 is a modern KVM technology solution housed in a retractable, slideaway chassis. It includes a built-in 43cm LCD screen, a full-size keyboard, and a touchpad, designed for mounting in a 1U rack space for 19-inch cabinets.

The integrated console features a 43cm LCD screen in a slideaway design. The unit can be configured with or without a fingerprint reader. Its space-saving design allows up to two consoles (on one bus) to control up to 8 computers. By daisy-chaining up to 31 additional units, users can control up to 256 computers from a single console (compatible KVM switches include: ACS1208A, ACS1216A, CS1708A, CS1716A).
